Rockwell's "Somebody Watching Me" peaked at Nº6 in the official UK Singles Chart in 1983 (or 1984). It was also Nº2 in the Billboard Hot 100 in 1983. Therefore, its peak position in this chart is wrong. And so it is Bobby Boris Pickett's "Monster Mash", Nº3 in 1973, unless you consider the song charting this week a different version to the one ft. The Crypt-Kickers that became a UK million seller single 52 years ago.

The horror steps in at #82 and #96. Looking forward to 6 boring chart weeks until christmas.

There’s a new song at the top of the list this week and it’s by a truly incredible artist. :)

‘Folded’ grew on me even more thanks to the remix EP with 2000s R&B legends. I love the JoJo and Brandy versions in particular! Glad it was able to dodge ACR.

Top 40 Rankings: https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/6852144cf797148fd5157fbbe25fa5b85b34dfca4bd7d2dad64ef74a024e0499.jpg

#82 and #96… and so it begins. I’m generally fine with holiday music itself, but the charts become so boring to watch in November and especially December. Even the battle for Christmas Number One hasn’t been exciting in recent years.

‘Berghain’ might be one of the most fascinating chart entries we’ve had all year.

Having a song performed in three different languages with classical composition is something you’d expect to see in Eurovision week, not in late autumn.

I wish it made the Top 40 but I’m honestly impressed that a song like this was able to chart at all.

Incredibly, this week marks a new all-time peak for ‘Thriller’ more than 40 years after its release.

Very impressive considering most of its streams would’ve come in the first day of the tracking week.

I genuinely don’t get how ‘Golden’ is still #1. It was below ‘The Fate Of Ophelia’ on Spotify, Apple and iTunes all week, even with the latter having a couple new versions released. I like KPDH but this is getting odd now.

Either way, we need a change at the top. HUNTR/X and Alex Warren have spent more weeks at the summit in 2025 than all other artists combined. That just sums up how slow this year has been.
