Oh no Holly Humberstone didn't make it. Was the best release from last week.

i think the production on aperture is incredible, but to me it doesn’t feel like a big comeback single.

opening night was very good and im happy to see arctic monkeys back even if it may be a one-off for a good cause. speaking of which, that help(2) album looks immaculate. not only is having arctic monkeys, beabadoobee, big thief, fontaines dc, the last dinner party, olivia rodrigo, cameron winter, english teacher, arlo parks, sampha, wet leg, depeche mode, black country new road and ellie rowsell all on one album already a treat for me, but it’s an album i’ll certainly be buying when it releases, yknow, considering it’s for war child. <3

also can we talk about one of my favourite songs of all time from jeff buckley at number 64? what a treat!!

It disappoints me that I don't see Robbie Williams single in the charts at all. It is like better than the top 4 in my opinion 😢. 

I want Ravyn Lenae to be a prominent figure in pop music and not a one hit wonder. Love Me Not is such a cute song and her discography is amazing

I hope 'Stateside' enters the Top 10 next week considering there weren't many big new releases today. 

I'm amazed by how fast 'Choosin' Texas' is climbing the chart, but the song's really good and I hope it continues. 

Good to see the Zara dominance continue! Also Aperture is actually pretty good, cool to see Harry experiment with a new sound even if the song won’t last at all

I REALLLLYYY want Amerie to get a hit again, even if it’s a throwback. Maybe my favourite r&b singer

Don’t know what to think of the new harry album

Disappointed that ‘To Love Somebody’ didn’t make it in the end. It’s one of Holly Humberstone’s best songs to date.

I’m surprised she’s still yet to chart given how much Radio 1 love to play her music.

I love that ‘Midnight Sun’ is continuing to build momentum! Never would’ve expected Zara Larsson to get this kind of resurgence in the mainstream, but I’m glad to see it.

Makes me wonder if any other tracks from her latest album or even more of her back catalogue will show up soon.

Not sure how to feel about ‘Aperture’. I’m not really a fan of the vocals and the song takes too long to get going, but I really like the final minute and it’s cool to see Harry going for a more experimental and dance-inspired approach to his music. I wish 'Sign Of The Times' re-entered instead of 'As It Was'. 

Incredibly, we’ve already had four different artists top the chart this year (including three Brits) and we’re only at the end of January. Definitely makes things interesting at the very least.
