this is one of my personal favourite chart weeks everrrr wtf

doechii top 10, kendrick & sza all over the charts, new raye at #13, new entries from 2 of my favourite previously underrated songs last year: "love me not" at 89 and "mutt" at 99, no one noticed peaking, tate mcrae stable, ACR freshening up the top 5. so satisfying this is like my playlist in a chart.

Great to see Lola keeping the #1 spot. Just received her album on CD today. Doechii finally hits the top 10 - that is great. Abracadabra grew on me over the last week. Good to see it is climbing up the charts. Not a fan of Kendrick and found the half-time show quite boring - best parts were by SZA.

After not adding songs of the Great Tier since the New Year, two come along in the same week!

Hopefully ‘Casual’ and ‘Tell Me’ can enter the Top 40 in the weeks ahead. The former would certainly be yet another addition to it. In the meantime, the surprise return of ‘Red Wine Supernova’ is very welcome. :)

Lots of songs being taken out by ACR today.

‘APT.’ and ‘That’s So True’ finally got hit despite the former remaining in the Top 10. Not too disappointed to see ‘Sailor Song’ and ‘The Door’ be placed on it either. Both are decent songs but they had their time.

‘Defying Gravity’ and ‘Push 2 Start’ got struck way too early though… 😔

Lisa, Doja and RAYE have amazing chemistry between one another and I really liked all their individual parts too.

Definitely the collab of the year so far for me. I’d even go as far as to call it one of the best songs of 2025 in general! ❤️

I’m surprised by how much of an impact Kendrick’s Super Bowl halftime show had on the charts but absolutely not complaining about it!

Congratulations to him on a new career peak in the UK and I’m particularly glad that ‘All The Stars’ is back in for the first time since July 2018.
