I wonder if the Kylie-hating Madonna-loving queen who often stalks these forums is choking on his anti-depressants after Kylie scored her 11th number one album this week. Technically, she now equals Madonna who also has 11, not counting the Evita soundtrack which is a cast album and NOT a Madonna album. Madonna of course, hasn't had a number one album for almost 14 years now, because she's a tired old has-been with granny knees. Whereas Kylie's albums just keep hitting the top spot. While I doubt either of them will ever surpass Taylor Swift's tally of number ones for a female artist (14 and counting), congratulations to Kylie for securing yet another to add to her tally.

Yet another personal attack on Madge. OK, Kylie has performed well in the UK charts, but worldwide Kylie is far behind the sales of Madonna, and as for the Billboard charts, well, we all know who is the more successful there.  Sometimes you have to look at things in the round to get a true understanding of an artists achievements. Your slavish devotion to Kylie does your credibility (assuming you ever had any), no favours.

Nice try at deflection but it went down as well as Madonna's last album. And this forum is for the UK charts, not Billboard or anywhere else (though Madonna has been surpassed on those charts too). Lastly, I don't have any devotion to Kylie whatsoever. I have none of her records, much like I have none of Madonna's. I simply like taking moments like these to remind the delusional Madonna-loving queen who stalks these forums and badmouths Kylie while pretending that his washed-up idol is still relevant, that she isn't. I'm sure you know who I'm talking about. Don't you.

Dear Jessie, Your obsession with this mystery lily livered Kylie hating queen has distinctly Freudian overtones which is clouding your perspective. Clearly put, comparing Kylie to Madonna, is like comparing Little and Large to Morecambe and Wise or The Grumbleweeds to Monty Python. Your tired musings are a stain on this forum, perhaps it is time to gracefully withdraw and allow the more enlightened of us to debate the album chart and all that encompasses it. I am sure you could find solace to your  departure by bopping around your house, or tent, to The Locomotion.  Merry Xmas

Unbelievable...Can't believe Kylie got to #1. What is it about her that she just keeps getting better and better. She is the only artist from the 80s to still pump out #1s decades later. For someone who wanted to be an actress and then switched to music and is up there with the very best with yet another #1 tells me there is more to come. I have never seen any other artist come back and actually be more popular than when they first started. In the 90s she was almost out of the door and here we are over 20 years later, and she is still not only in the Album charts but also the singles. Regardless if next week the Album is completely out of the charts-it has done it's job. She now has 11 #1 Albums to her name and to think many thought she was not a threat. She is a threat and I can guarantee she will probably finish her career with at least 13 #1 Albums if not more. Congrats Kylie. You survived in an industry where so many have failed. There is just something about you that people love.
