Sabrina Carpenter aiming for third UK Number 1 single this year with Taste
The next single from Short n' Sweet could be the third consecuticve chart-topper from Sabrina's sixth album.

It is truly Sabrina Carpenter season! Taste is on track to become the US sensation’s third UK Number 1 single in less than 6 months.
Taste follows the success of Sabrina's previous two chart-topping singles; Espresso and Please Please Please, which topped the Official Singles Chart for a combined total of 12 weeks earlier this year.
This brand new single, a killer pop-rock kiss-off to an ex and his new partner, carries a killer melody with chugging, jagged slacker-rock guitars. Its music video, inspired by camp classic Death Becomes Her, also stars Scream queen Jenna Ortega.
Plus, two more tracks from new album Short n’ Sweet could end the week inside the UK Top 10; former chart-topper Please Please Please (5) and the disco-y Good Graces (10).
Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars are expected to reach a brand new peak with Die With A Smile up one midweek (6).
Sonny Fodera, Jazzy and D.O.D are one step closer to a Top 10 breakthrough on Somedays, currently expected to rise to Number 11.
Finally, Teddy Swims’s slow-burn hit The Door is predicted to enter the UK Top 20 for the first time on Friday (18).

nah Sabrina really isn't overrated. its just that her songs appeal to a larger group of people compared to your music which obviously doesn't appeal to many cause who even is Fontaine's dc??? also Sabrinas been slept on for like 5 years its about time she gets attention. also her album obviously isn't forgettable since espresso pls pls pls and taste are very popular rn.

Espresso was released like nearly 20 weeks ago or if so that.. it ain't popular anymore. I don't care about fontaines dc but they definitely should get it over sabrina.. she's cringe, offensive and is so basic it's crazy

I did really want Chase and Status to lose it but does it really have to be Carpenter again Id rather Good Luck Babe get it as at least that earnt it's way from the bottom to the top.
A pathetic 1.9 million is all you need to top the chart these days when many of the tracks to rival Chase and Status are in the billions.
That is why I am against 0.5 division maths on the chart as well as ACR/SCR. There has to be a better levelling up system they could use on it to make things equal even better than the system they use.
I am talking logging the highest statistic from the entire week using that as the number and using that number / the numbers the other tracks drawn then * the amount that comes up like 1.8888888888888888888 results on the dividing makes it a x2 because the . part is an 8 and 1.444444444444 would be just a x1 then do the same system on every results and order them by original score to the leveled up like a 20 Million on the final leveled up score that is placed below the 40 Million on the same score.
I think it's may more fair system than ACR/SCR they use to put pants scorers on top of the chart as it uses the number that the track scores to order the placing still yet still lets lower track score higher so it's a proper fight between low and high stats tracks with ACR/SCR the tracks can automatically pace Top 10 when they low scored they have to fight big tracks for their place in the Top 10 on a real leveling up fairness system thats the difference.
