WrestleMania 32: the UK's highest charting WrestleMania themes revealed
For WWE fans, it doesn't get any bigger than WrestleMania.
The 32nd installment of the annual sports extravaganza will air in more than 150 countries this Sunday (April 3), with headline main event matches including WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H facing Roman Reigns and WWE Divas Champion Charlotte defending her title against the "Irish Lass Kicker" Becky Lynch and "The Boss" Sasha Banks.
Each WrestleMania has an official theme song, and this year's event being no exception. Flo Rida's My House is 2016's signature tune, and he'll be in Dallas, Texas to perform the track live. Also performing at the event are Fifth Harmony, who will continue the tradition and sing America The Beautiful to open the show in front of 70,000+ people in attendance.
Whose footsteps is Flo Rida following in, and how have WrestleMania themes from years gone by performed on the UK's Official Singles Chart? We delved into our archive to give you the exclusive rundown.
Before we get to the list, we spoke to WWE Diva Natalya about her favourite ever theme. "WrestleMania is the grandest stage of all and the perfect theme can set the perfect mood," she told us. "I'm so excited that Flo Rida is doing the theme for WrestleMania 32. I've actually met him at our shows a few times and he is so humble and gracious, to have him there on the night is just going to be huge."
And her favourite WrestleMania theme of all time? "I would probably have to say the current theme from Flo Rida. This WrestleMania is going to be very special for me and it really embodies where we are right now. It's our time… it's our house!"
WrestleMania I: Philip Bailey with Phil Collins - Easy Lover (Instrumental) (1985)
WrestleMania I, the first ever event of its kind, was held in Madison Square Garden in 1985. The tag team of Hulk Hogan and Mr T won the headline match (spoiler!) and quite the duo were behind the official theme song. An instrumental of Philip Bailey and Phil Collins' Easy Lover hyped up the crowd in New York and climbed up the charts in the UK, holding the top spot for four weeks.

WrestleMania III: Aretha Franklin - Who's Zoomin' Who (1987)
Aretha Franklin is quite the WrestleMania legend. Providing Whos Zoomin' Who as the theme to WrestleMania III, The Queen of Soul also sang America The Beautiful at the show, and returned to sing it once more twenty years later at WrestleMania 23. Whos Zoomin' Who peaked at Number 11 in the UK, becoming her sixth Top 20 hit. A big achievement for Aretha, as was singing in front of the all-time WrestleMania attendance record of 93,173 people.

WrestleMania X-Seven: Limp Bizkit - My Way (2001)
Who knew Aretha Franklin and Fred Durst had something in common. It was Limp Bizkit who had the first chart-friendly WrestleMania theme following an over ten year drought of official promotional tracks between WrestleMania 4 and WrestleMania 15. My Way reached Number 6 in the Official Singles Chart, proving to be a popular choice for the WWE to use for their seventeenth Mania. Fun fact: Limp Bizkit's Number 1 single Rollin' was used as The Undertaker's entrance music between 2000 and 2002.

WrestleMania 22: Peter Gabriel - Big Time (2006)
Peter Gabriel's Big Time was the high-energy choice for WrestleMania 22's theme in 2006, a throwback, feel-good choice chosen twenty years after the single's US release. Why Peter Gabriel? Because he's Peter Gabriel most likely - why wouldn't he be a perfect choice?! The song's lyrics matched the feel of the show so much, WWE even used "Big Time!" as the official tagline. Featured on Gabriel's iconic So album, Big Time peaked at Number 13.

WrestleMania 24: Red Hot Chili Peppers - Snow (Hey Oh) (2008)
The anthemic nature of Snow by the Red Hot Chili's has led the track to one of their most popular ever, resulting in a Number 16 peak in the UK, their final Top 20 hit to date. It also has a big stadium feel to it; perfect for laying the SmackDown along to.
Red Hot Chili Peppers have had over 20 UK Top 40 singles. View them here.
WrestleMania 26: Kevin Rudolf ft. Birdman, Jay Sean and Lil Wayne - I Made It (Cash Money Heroes) (2010)
Surpassed in the Rudolf stakes only by the famous reindeer, Kevin Rudolf Let It Rock back in 2008, reaching the UK Top 5. Two years later, the lyrics of I Made It related to every WWE superstar who had worked their butt off all year to be rewarded with a WrestleMania appearance. "I Made It" was presumably what Kevin said after the Mania campaign - it resulted in his second UK Top 40 appearance at Number 37.
WrestleMania 27: Tinie Tempah ft. Eric Turner - Written in the Stars (2011)
The euphoric Written in the Stars was the perfect song choice for WrestleMania 27, perhaps the most suitable theme ever utilised by WWE. A smash hit in the US, Tinie Tempah's second UK Number 1 is just as epic as it was back in the day.

WrestleMania 28: Flo Rida - Good Feeling/Wild Ones (2012)
We get a Good Feeling every time it's WrestleMania season, hence why Flo Rida's first stint as a Mania theme artist was incredibly relatable to Superstars, Divas and the WWE Universe alike. Both Flo's Wild Ones and Good Feeling were theme songs in 2012, making the latter the third WrestleMania featured track to hit the UK top spot. You will never, ever forget the name of... Good Feeling. Hooray for another wrestling-related pun.

WrestleMania 28: Madonna - Girl Gone Wild (2012)
Madonna is somehow related to WrestleMania? Believe it or not, Madge's music was not only the soundtrack to the Super Bowl in 2012. Whilst not the main theme song, the Queen of Pop's Girl Gone Wild was in fact still an official theme for the event, used to promote a Divas tag team match. Madonna provided the bop whilst Beth Phoenix, Eve Torres, Kelly Kelly and Maria Menounous provided the bumps.

WrestleMania 29's Hall of Fame: The Script ft. will.i.am - Hall of Fame (2013)
Let's get the tissues out - it's about to get emotional. The WWE Hall of Fame is a big part of WrestleMania weekend, happening the night prior to the "Show of Shows" as a way to celebrate the legacies of various WWE legends. The Script and will.i.am's Hall of Fame was used in 2013, becoming the fourth UK Number 1 single associated with WrestleMania.

WrestleMania 29: Diddy ft. Skylar Grey - Coming Home (2013)
Another to perform live at WrestleMania, Diddy entertained over 80,000 fans at WrestleMania 29 with Coming Home. A Number 4 hit in the UK, Coming Home was the ideal selection for that year's theme, as WrestleMania was held in New York, where the tradition began back in 1985. We're filling up over the cuteness of that choice/crying tears of joy that this year's Mania is this weekend. OH EM GEE!
