Lukas Graham have done it again – the Danish band are Number 1 for a third week running with 7 Years.

The track has enjoyed its second highest chart sales total since its release, achieving a combined figure of 131,000. The track was also the most streamed this week with over 5,350,000 plays.

Speaking to OfficialCharts.com about the track’s origins and success, frontman Lukas told us: “The song was born out of me and the producer in the kitchen of our studio. When we were finished with it I knew we had something phenomenal. Obviously being Number 1 feels very satisfying - we’re surprised and exultant about the success of 7 Years!

Elsewhere in the Top 5, Rihanna reaches a new peak of 2 with US chart topper Work ft. Drake, Jonas Blue rebounds a place to 3 with Fast Car, Zayn drops two places with Pillowtalk (4) and Justin Bieber’s Love Yourself climbs two places to Number 5 following his BRIT Awards performance.
