For anyone wondering, the resurgence for ‘Go’ is because it features in a Netflix film that’s fairly popular right now.

‘The One That Got Away’ returned because of TikTok virality and a subsequent director’s cut music video, while ‘Unwritten’ got reset as it's back on autoplay yet again.

Not quite right. The One That Got Away is viral on tiktok (the directors cut music video was released because of this - it did not contribute at all) & Unwritten got a manual reset which is likely down to the autoplay

Fantastic to see ‘Midnight Sun’ finally enter the Top 10! PinkPantheress absolutely nailed the vocals on the remix.

It’s also cool that another track from Zara’s album debuted, even if ‘Eurosummer’ is one of the weaker songs on it. My favourites are the title track, ‘Crush’ and ‘Hot & $exy’.

Three MJ entries and a Madonna entry in the Top 40 at the same time? Have we gone back to the 80s?

Yes, I know the latter had a Sabrina feature, but seeing both the King and Queen of Pop chart this high in 2026 is incredible nonetheless.

This also marks the highest position for ‘Billie Jean’ since its original run more than 43 years ago!

I also like how we have four different decades represented in the Top 20 (1980s, 2000s, 2010s and 2020s).

Now we just need a song from the 1990s to see a resurgence!

Very pleased that ‘Dracula’ returns to its peak!

I sadly don’t think it’ll overtake ‘Rein Me In’ as it’s too far behind on streaming, but the fact that a single like this has spent multiple weeks in the Top 2 is amazing, even if JENNIE should absolutely be credited by now.
