Adele says Hello to another week at Number 1

Plus new entries from Ariana Grance, Lost Frequencies, more.

After her record-breaking first week last week, it was always going to be tough to shift Adele from the top of the Official Singles Chart.

Hello, which is the fastest-selling single of 2015 and last week set a new one-week streaming record with over 7.32 million listens, holds on to Number 1 for a second week, and has already been certified Gold by the BPI.

Hello’s success shows little assign of slowing. This week alone, the track has sold an impressive 121,000 downloads and notched up 5.78 million streams, giving it a chart tally of over 179,00 chart sales.

Adele’s tenure at the top keeps Justin Bieber’s Sorry at Number 2 for another week, racking up an impressive 4.41 million listens, while Sam Smith’s Bond theme Writing’s On The Wall climbs back up one place to Number 3.

The Weeknd’s The Hills rises a place to 4 and Drake’s Hotline Bling slides two to Number 5.

New entries and high climbers

Highest new entry this week goes to Ariana GrandeFocus is new at Number 10, giving her a third Top 10. Belgian DJ and producer Lost Frequencies scores a second Top 40 with Reality feat. Janieck Devy new at Number 29.

Little Mix’s Love Me Like You hits a new chart peak today, climbing nine places and breaking the Top 20 for the first time to land at 19.

Skrillex & Justin Bieber’s Where Are U Now makes a return to the Top 40, advancing five places to 40.
