Rockabye
by CLEAN BANDIT FEATURING SEAN PAUL & ANNE-MARIE

The first non-cover, charity single or X Factor's winners single to clinch the Official Christmas Number 1 in nearly 20 years, the addictive trop-pop anthem Rockabye saw classical-dance group Clean Bandit join forces with Anne-Marie (after Dua Lipa dropped out) and Sean Paul for an inspiring and certainly very wacky tale of the trials and tribulations of a single mother.

Originally written by Ina Wrodlsen (who has written for The Sautrdays and Calvin Harris), Rockabye entered the chart at Number 7, rising to claim the top spot from Little Mix’s Shout Out To My Ex in mid-November, and remained there for nine weeks until early January 2017, making Official Charts history as the longest a track has taken to climb to the peak of Christmas Number 1.
