Sip an ice cold can of Diet Pepsi with Addison Rae, on her debut as a major label solo artist.
Following the release of her 'lost' EP AR in 2023 - which featured acclaimed tracks I Got It Bad and 2 Die 4 with Charli xcx, Diet Pepsi sees former TikTok queen Addison's first release since signing with Columbia Records, as the lead single from her forthcoming debut album.
Written by Addison alongside the song's producers, Elvira Anderfjärd and Luka Kloser (part of Max Martin's WolfCousins cohort), Diet Pepsi is a sleek synth-pop song which bares more than a passing resemblance, lyrically at least, to Lana Del Rey's work on her 2014 magnum opus Ultraviolence.
"When we drive in your car, I'm your baby," Addison coos in the song's chorus, "losing all my innocence in the backseat..."
The song's sensual, silly music video which sees Addison camp it up in true star mode was directed by Sean Price Williams (who also helmed Sabrina Carpenter's Please Please Please) and featured Pretty Little Liars star Drew Van Acker as Addison's love interest.
