It just disappoints me the way the charts are these days. It wouldn't surprise me if next week all the songs that have been pushed out due to the influx of xmas songs will all be re entries in the chart on Friday. We need new material to keep coming to keep the charts vibrant and fresh. The charts are so stagnant now.

michael everyone’s opinion is valid here. it’s just that this comments section nowadays is just full of children who don’t care for other people or their opinion, and have no appreciation towards real music, which explains why there’s so many fans of ded sheeran and the mid laroi here. it’s become an absolute joke. but dw ima always respect your opinion no matter what ✊

ever heard of tracking data? i already explained this to you when halloween songs re entered. christmas day was during the tracking week and christmas songs were all people listened to on that day, and plus the streaming figures were so high that they just overshadowed other songs streamed for the rest of the week (sorry if i worded this poorly lol). happy new year btw!

It was fascinating to watch! I really love The Waitresses single Christmas Wrapping, but my favourite is December Will Be Magic Again by Kate Bush and really can't understand why that doesn't reappear in the chart every year!
