As a lover of this album I would like to know what are your thoughts about it? :)
Because judging on your ratings you don't seem to like the ballads and you seem to like the upbeat songs more, while for me it's the complete opposite, I absolutely love the ballads and less the upbeat ones like NDA/Oxytocin.
In my opinion, Goldwing, Halleys Comet, Your Power and Everybody Dies are gorgeous tracks, the lyrics, the production, the vocal performance.... It's so pure, so beautiful to listen, that's why i'm surprised you rated these songs so low. Maybe you didn't take enough time to understand the lyrics or to listen to every details in the songs? (with headphones it's wow!) It took me a few listens to fully appreciate this project and understand it ^^
Also I think the transition is very powerful & important because of what Billie is trying to say (and she's right tho)

But one thing I agree with you is for Happier Than Ever, that song is mind-blowing!

Yeah, it was definitely my least favourite track on the album when I reviewed it & it’s stated that way for me ever since. :/

I think it’s mainly because I’m used to Billie doing a lot of slower songs, but ‘NDA’ & ‘Oxytocin’ stood out for me because of how much more energetic they sound! I honestly think that Billie sells this dark, tense vibe a lot better personally. :)

That being said, I think she’s a beautiful singer of all of the tracks that you listed, although ‘No Time To Die’ is still my all-time favourite song of hers!

I feel you went to strong on her qualifications...but at the same time I understand it gets boring for some lapses...I would give this album an 85%

But "Oh My God" is coming on the way...this might get the "Single effect"....don´t you think?

This album for me has a 90 - 95% I love Maisie Peters

I totally agreee wit that...way too many songs for just one year for Taylor...I couldn´t digest even half of them, even when a lot were repeated versions with some changes...

I like "Santa Baby" ...."Feliz Navidad" by José Feliciano took about 37 years (reaching # 44 in 2017, on the week ending January 7,.....in 2020 it reached # 6) to chart for the first time after being released in 1970...so I will keep on waiting one Xmas after another...something similar happened to Mariah Carey´s "All I want for Christmas is you" which In 2019, topped the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time, 25 years after its original release in 1994....something similar happens to me with "Santa Tell me" by Arianna Grande, which I thought it was goiung to top the charts 7 years ago 🤔

I love "santa Tell me"...but I think it will have to wait some years to top the charts... if ever...

Several years ago they admitted that they are to please younger audience and in their opinion it means they have to play younger artists. They stopped playing Robbie before he wes 40, Kylie when she was 42. Avril isn't far away from their numbers so I won't be surprised

Hello Piran!! it´s been a couple of weeks that I haven´t said anything in here...as usual, my respect for your comments and your great taste in music....sad for your stopping the stoplight opinions...I love the way you separate by colors what´s growing or decreasing in your taste or your preferences every week....I want to refer to the so commented here about the rule of only 3 songs per singer or band, and how careful they are about it...look what´s happening in America...las week they had 14 songs of "Summer Walker", this week only 2 survived (I don´t like her much, anyway), now, this week the turn is for Taylor Swift= 26 songs of hers!!!!! more than 26% of the chart just for her!!! that´s terrible for me, plus they have 7 songs on "Soul Sonic", 5 songs on "The Weekend", 4 songs on "Doja Cat"...It means that a total of 44% of the chart is in only 5 singers!!! I definitely don´t agree with that....neither with the rule of the 3 songs in here in the UK, but a more dedicated balance...

yeah...agree with that, Avril´s song is not that bad, she sounds more mature in ‘Bite Me’ , thou her classic "Complicated" willl be my 4ever favorite...

I didn´t imagine age was an issue to Radio one...but come to think about it, it seems is real...grown up bands are not aired that much in it...

She sings much better in studio that in live presentations...

As I said before, she sounds more mature to me nowadays, since her 2019 album she sounded better for my taste...
