No wish to rain on anyone's parade in this time of overindulgence. To the glory of Mammon rather surprised that No 1 on Amazon charts is not mentioned here? Still I doubt considering others at this time of year consists of posting some trite remark on facebook? personally happy with my bowl of Humbugs and copy of Ralph Mctell, Annie Lennox, and the crises choir charity single.

What? How did Too Good at Goodbyes drop from 7 to 30 when Sam Smith's album is at #1 again?

Wouldn't it be great if a NEW Christmas song like "Merry Christmas" by the wonderful English band Big Big Train made the charts ? It is not forbidden to fantasize.
Season's greetings from Belgium

Prety good chart this. What do you guys think will be the next #1?

avatar

Tina Cohen-Chang

1

Why the isnt beyonce credited for the number one? Without her it wouldn’t have gone number one.

This is ridiculous, you guys credited Justin Bieber when Despacito hit number one bit you won’t credit beyonce?

Don’t add the sales/streams from Beyoncé’s version if you’re not even going to credit her that’s so unfair. How come you credit Justin and not Beyonce? AN absolute joke. She deserves it!

avatar

Calum Pk7

1

its only because Perfect was already charting previously and Despacito wasn't. I totally agree that they should be counted separately, but given OCC always merge songs, they only credit remix artists if the original was far less popular and didn't chart.

avatar

Tina Cohen-Chang

1

That is absolute bull sorry.

Despacito hit #4 before the remix with JB was released, the exact same peak Perfect hit before the Beyoncé remix.

This chart is completely corrupted and unfair, they should NOT add the sales of the remix if they are NOT going to credit Beyoncé, its an insult to her and her fans.

avatar

Calum Pk7

3

actually no Despacito didn't chart before the remix. they just didn't credit JB the first couple weeks for some reason, the original never actually charted. yes occ may say different, but I know that for sure cos on the first week on r1 when it was #22 they played the remix and said about how JB saw 'dollar signs'. Don't ask how I remember that I just do :)
I understand your anger about the situation though.

The campaign for decent pop music continues!! Someone uploaded Newtimers Game Over onto Youtube. The song begins at 1 min:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itv0yMKGQPk

The video is not a promo video. This is the sort of pop music that charted high in the pre-streaming era. It's none of this urban r and b rap bland stuff - this is PROPER POP MUSIC!!! One of the best songs of the year. :)

Sorry, but YouTube does diddly squat for the UK charts. If you were serious about a pop campaign (and this isn't, say, some self-promo...) you'd link to Apple Music, Spotify, or one of those services that autocollects the on-demand streaming services' links for a song.

Hello everyone, here is my review on the chart this week:
- Firstly, its cool the comments finally updated, as now we will hopefully get more people here again and not the comments from the album chart too lol
- congratulations to Ed Sheeran for his second #1 of 2017 and 4th in all! Perfect had a huge advantage due to the fact both singles were included in its sales, but it could have reached the top spot anyway if only the Beyoncé remix counted.
- also, well done Rak-Su for their #2 debut this week! they did so well on X Factor and were deserved winners this year, and although I wasn't particularly thrilled with the performances of either featured artist, the melodies and raps of Rak-Su suggest they could become a huge group in the near future! I'm sure they will also be very popular with the general public if they continue to release music similar to that they performed on x factor! tbh they should probably release their other x factor singles in an ep with Dimelo, as they are all great original songs!
- Camila Cabello drops off #1 after five weeks at the top with Havana. I'm not too surprised or upset tbh, as the other three are great songs too and she has already done really well with the track!
- although surprising, its cool to see Christmas songs charting so well so early. I haven't listened to any myself yet but I will definitely soon! it will be interesting to see if any challenge Ed for Christmas #1! but that will have a huge deal to do with their sales, which always seem to be weaker than streams.
- not a great deal of new entries in the top 40 today, but cool to see Louis Tomlinson at #39. although I did prefer his first two more dance-based tracks, I quite enjoy this one too!
- it is disappointing that Hailee Steinfeld failed to reach the top 40 today with Let Me Go, as this was probably her best chance, but if Christmas songs have a drop next week as is likely, she probably has one more before New Year.
- Today saw the release of two new Camila Cabello songs, Never Be The Same and Real Friends. unsurprisingly, I love both, and hope they can chart! Id give NBTS 9.25/10 right now, and Real Friends 7.75/10, but both are likely to grow on me further! for the former, this is probably the quickest a song has affected me in a while. songs tend to grow on me over at least two weeks, but I loved it at first listen! both are getting reasonable downloads at the moment, at #25 and #49 respectively, but their Spotify streaming stats will be interesting to see tomorrow.
- That's it for today, hope you all enjoyed reading my review! :D

It'll be interesting to see how much the remix sold compared to the original this week. I follow a few sites that gives sales figures for the UK, so hopefully one of them breaks it down into the remix & original.
I don't know if a Christmas song can reach #1 this year, but they are putting up a good fight. They seem to be dropping on Spotify now, but they will definitely rise again in a week or 2.
You already know my opinions to pretty much everything else in this review because of other conversations we've had, but great review! :D

Glad to see the comments section has gone back to the old system. Wish the charts would. Ridiculous that Thunder are at No.31 in the Sales Chart but not even in the Top 100 in the main chart

Wow I had no idea Ariana Grande's "Santa Tell Me" did so bad in the last Christmas seasons. It re-entered the chart at a new peak of just #60, but it will go up in the upcoming weeks, so it's already having it's best year in the UK!

Where is Beyoncé in Perfect?

not credited because the original is popular here too. The remixed artist is only credited if the original single wasn't charting well already, eg Despacito, Pretty Girl

My thoughts & observations on the UK charts as always…

- Ed Sheeran started 2017 amazingly well & it looks like he’s going to end it that way too! ‘Perfect’ becomes his fourth #1 on the singles chart. If Beyoncé had been credited, this would be her sixth chart-topper (& her first since featuring on ‘Telephone’ by Lady Gaga back in February 2010).

- 'Perfect' shifted 89,000 copies across downloads & streaming equivalent sales in the seven days. This is the highest weekly figures since Artists For Grenfell debuted at #1 with 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' back in June.

- Unsurprisingly, ‘Perfect’ swaps places with ‘Havana’ on the airplay chart for a second time. This is ‘Perfect’s third non-consecutive week at #1 on radio.

- The biggest debut of the week comes from this year’s X Factor winners, Rak-Su, with their original song ‘Dimelo’ at #2, which was re-recorded with Wyclef Jean & Naughty Boy & released as the official winner’s single. It genuinely surprises me why it’s taken this long for a boyband to finally win the competition & while I’d much rather Grace Davies won the show this year, I’m absolutely fine with Rak-Su being the champions. One thing I love about this particular series was that a lot more of the finalist were writing their own songs & that experience in song-writing shows that they have real potential as artists. This has to be one of the most fun songs I’ve heard in 2017, where the entire song is just one big party. It’s about dancing with a girl that caught your eye & comparing her to various Latino female singers, including: Shakira, Camila Cabello & Jennifer Lopez & some of the other metaphors they use to describe this girl are lyrically clever. I don’t really see what Naughty Boy adds to the production of the original, which I was already a fan of as it’s mostly Caribbean-inspired & Wyclef Jean’s verse is okay, but Rak-Su just dominate the whole thing with their positively & while their vocals aren’t the best, I thought their rap flow was more impressive. This is like the British ‘Despacito’ to me & it’s probably going to get old quick for me when radio inevitably overplay it, but I’m just going to enjoy it while I can, because right now, I’m obsessed!

- P!NK scores her 31st Top 40 appearance with the title track from her recent #1 album, ‘Beautiful Trauma’. While this might not be the best track from that album, I can see why this promotional single became an official single, as there are some unusual production choices that you’d never expect in a P!NK song, including horns & a piano line. That said, that kind of instrumentation makes this feel a bit too arranged. As usual, P!NK proves that she is a powerful singer here & she sounds even better using that stylistic range, even though the hook is a bit of a disappointment. The content here is sincere & generally about a relationship with highs & lows, but where P!NK makes several comments about her being drugged up. Again, this does seem like a reasonable choice as the opening track, but I only think this is decent at best. Check it out if you’re curious, but keep in mind that PINK can do far better.

- Following up ‘Just Hold On & ‘Back To You’, Louis Tomlinson debuts at #37 this week with ‘Miss You’. I’m really not sure what direction Louis is going to go in on his debut solo album, because this sounds completely different to his previous two hits. It’s mostly pop, with a very light rock vibe, so not too far away from the sound of One Direction. Although, I think this is slightly more explicit & mature; lyrically the song is about having a good night with some friends, yet there being the feeling that something is off. When the alcohol finally kicks in, he realises that he misses this girl he loves so much. I think his delivery is decent for the most part here, especially the thick accent he uses in the verses adding to the charm, but I feel like his vocals struggle to match the energy behind the catchy hook & it just seems like those background strings are somewhat misplaced. Anyway, this is probably the most memorable of the three solo singles from Louis, so if you don’t mind what he’s put out so far, you might be a fan of this.

- After a three-week break from the top, ‘The Thrill Of It All’ by Sam Smith returns to #1 on the albums chart for a second non-consecutive week.

- The rest of the Top 5 is: ‘÷’ by Ed Sheeran (4-2), ‘Together Again’ by Michael Ball & Alfie Boe (5-3), ‘Beautiful Trauma’ by P!NK (10-4) & ‘Songs Of Experience’ by U2’ (debuts at #5). Interestingly, the latter of these was at #1 on the midweek update, proving once again how hard it is to predict album sales around Christmas.

- Looking ahead to next week, we could see the following songs enter the Top 40 for the first time: ‘Never Be The Same’ by Camila Cabello, ‘Untouchable’ by Eminem & some more Christmas songs re-entering.

- Elsewhere in the Top 40, it’s good to see six festive classics inside the Top 40 (& three in the Top 10) & it’s still just over two weeks until Christmas. The biggest surprise for me was seeing how high ‘Fairytale Of New York’ is & it’s the first time it has appeared in the Top 10 in nine years. Outside of the Christmas songs, I’m hoping for ‘Let You Down’ by NF to hit the Top 10 eventually.

- Thanks for reading everyone! I hope you all have a good weekend. :)

With 'Perfect' selling 89,000 this week, he manages to sell over double last week's #1. 'Havana' sold 41,500 last week. While 'Perfect' is one of my least favourite songs from '÷', I'm still really glad that Ed got another #1 and I hope that it manages to hold on until Christmas. I'm really looking forward to whatever trick he's got up his sleeve for next week as well.

'Havana' and 'Perfect' have now followed an "A-B-A-B" pattern on the airplay chart for the past 4 weeks, marking the only time that I can find of 2 songs replacing each other at the top for 4 consecutive weeks. It may have happened before, but I can't find any information on whether it has or not.

While 'Dimelo' is far from my favourite X-Factor winner's single (that honour goes to 'Impossible'), it's still my 2nd favourite and I do quite like the song. Possibly even enough for it to make a debut in my chart next week.

Louis Tomlinson is one of my favourite former One Direction members, but I'm not massively keen on 'I Miss You'. I really like 'Just Hold On' and 'Back To You', but, in my opinion, this is his worst single yet. It was quite funny seeing Louis, Zayn and Liam all come one after another in the singles chart though.

It's really good to see '÷' going all the way back up to #2. While I think that this was probably its best shot at #1 for the foreseeable future, I'm still hoping it can return as he embarks on his UK stadium tour next year. It still may return this year, though. It sold 35,000 last week and undoubtedly sold more this week, so if there are no new album releases and 'The Thrill Of It All' has a poor week for sales, '÷' may just be able to grab another week at #1. Not likely, but still possible.

'Never Be The Same' and 'Real Friends' seem to be doing much better across the world than they are in the UK. 'Never Be The Same' is currently at #3 on US iTunes and both songs are holding the Top 2 positions in several countries, but 'Never Be The Same' is only at #23 and 'Real Friends' is only at #48 on UK iTunes.

It's great to see 'Decline' and 'Let You Down' climb, and I really hope that 'Let You Down' can hit the Top 10 at some point. It's a fantastic song.

Hey Piran, great review! yeah, the comments surprised me too!
so what do you think of Camila's new singles? :)

avatar

Calum Pk7

2

Hey GamesKiller01! yeah, it's unsurprising that Ed sold double Camila did last week, as he was charting using a mixture of both the original and remix of Perfect. To be honest, he still had a large chance of #1 even if the original and remix were charted differently.
as for Camila, shes currently at #25 and #49 on iTunes according to Kworb, so could do well next week if her sales remain static. however, how well she does on Spotify in today's chart tomorrow makes a huge difference, as from the off you can tell if a song will have high or low streams in its first couple of weeks
with Let You Down, its chances on top 10 depend on whether the Christmas songs remain static or drop next week. if they drop it has a good chance! :)

avatar

Piran

2

Hey, thanks Calum! :)
At first listen, I'd give 'Never Be The Same' a 7/10 at first listen, I can see why it's the more popular of the two based on initial response & I think it would fit really well on say a Fifty Shades soundtrack, but the only thing that let me down is her weak falsetto in the pre-chorus.
'Real Friends' easily gets an 8/10 (maybe even a 9) because I love the guitar melody! The production is fun even though the lyrics are actually a bit sad. This kind of song would've been relatable to me about six or seven years ago.

avatar

Piran

2

Do you think the other trick up his sleeve could be another remix? He did release multiple version of 'Shape Of You'. Maybe that's what he meant when he said he was going to 'Despacito' 'Perfect'...?
'÷'s best chance of going to would probably be sometime this month, but that stadium tour next year might help it accumulate at least a couple more months inside the Top 5.
Which of the two songs do you prefer then? Right now, I'd give 'Never Be The Same' a 7/10 & 'Real Friends' an 8/10. Both might be able to debut inside my Top 20 (well, definitely Top 30), but I don't know about Top 10.
'Decline' is growing on me more with every listen & I really like 'Let You Down' as you know.
I'll comment on your chart & check your '÷' review in a few minutes & let you know what I think of them! :D

avatar

Calum Pk7

3

for me NBTS is clearly the better of the two, and my favourite song rn already! real friends is really good too with great vocals especially at the end, but the power in the chorus and the whole feel of the song is what does it for me in NBTS!
so where do you think they will debut for you, and do they have any potential of growing on you? :)

avatar

Calum Pk7

3

oh, so the Camila Cabello remix is still a possibility? hope so! :)

avatar

Calum Pk7

3

oh and by the way, ive just done a review and will go and try get a crownnote chart up now! :)

avatar

Foxes

1

I think if the 2 versions of 'Perfect' were counted differently, 'Perfect Duet' would've made #1 and 'Perfect' would've made #3 / #4. But since they're combined he gets some huge sales numbers.
Yeah, how well she does on streams will be the biggest indicator as to how well she's going to do. I'd love for both tracks to debut in the Top 40 next week, and I think 'Never Be The Same' is almost definitely going to. I'd love to see it go Top 10 as well if it manages to gain traction in the coming weeks.
The Christmas songs seem to be dropping a little on Spotify, so I think 'Fairytale of New York' may drop out of the Top 10 next week. And, hopefully, that should let 'Let You Down' grab a spot at #10 or #9. :D

avatar

Piran

2

Same! If it isn't another remix he's planning to do, then it could be a big TV performance with Beyoncé joining him live.

avatar

Piran

2

The hook on 'Never Be The Same' is fine enough, but for me, it just doesn't have the power that other female pop stars like: Demi, Taylor, Ariana or P!NK bring to most of their choruses in my opinion.
'Never Be The Same' will probably grow on me with a few more listens, but I don't think I'll ever like it more than 'Real Friends'.

avatar

Foxes

2

It could, potentially. He said it wasn't going to be as big as Beyoncé, but another remix is definitely a possibility. Either that or a high-profile live event.
Well, 'Revival' by Eminem releases on Dec 15, so that'll probably top the chart the week after that, but next week Ed could be in with a shot. It may pass 50,000 sales next week as people buy it for Christmas presents, which may be enough to get it past 'The Thrill Of It All'!
I prefer 'Real Friends' but it was really close. I'd give 'Never Be The Same' a 98/100 and 'Real Friends' a 100/100, just the 4th track to accomplish this, after 'Bloodstream' by Ed Sheeran, 'Mercy' by Shawn Mendes, and 'Havana' by Camila herself.
I just saw your comment on my chart, so I'll go reply to that now! :D

avatar

Calum Pk7

3

fair enough, but Camila doesn't have that kind of voice. the song is so good tho, hope it charts. it was also a good idea to release a radio edit straight away, as, although the drug references are only comparisons, they would spend time making a radio edit. so releasing it straight away means it can go straight on radio and get more promotion.

avatar

Calum Pk7

3

yeah thatd be cool! although I couldn't probably see it don't have many channels lol

avatar

Piran

2

Cool, I just commented on your latest one! :)
As usual, my next chart will be up around this time tomorrow.

avatar

Piran

2

Haha, neither do I, but I'm thinking it could be somewhere like Capital's Jingle Bell Ball this weekend.
The line-up is probably one of the best I've ever seen for that event! :D

avatar

Calum Pk7

2

yeah well I really hope it does get top 40! as Piran will tell you, when Love incredible came out I insisted it would make top 40 with slightly worse first day sales than these, and it didn't make top 100 :/
and citc, Havana, omg etc didn't debut top 40 either, so we can only hope for a first for Camila to get a top 40 debut! :)

avatar

Calum Pk7

3

oh yeah, that should be good! do you know exactly when it is live on radio tomorrow? I listened to the summertime ball in 2015 I think, but apart from that I always seem to miss them lol :)

avatar

Foxes

1

I think with the amount of exposure she's gotten from 'Crying in the Club' and especially 'Havana', 'Never Be The Same' should be Camila's first Top 40 debut next week! And, depending on streaming figures, 'Real Friends' may be in with a shot as well.
'Love Incredible' is actually my least favourite track that Camila is a part of, though I'd still rate it a very good 85/100.

avatar

Piran

1

Well like I was saying to Calum, Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball on Sunday might be where they could perform it.
I would say that the next major album release after 'Revival' would probably be 'Camila'. I'm so excited that it's only five weeks away now! :D
'Real Friends' was very good, but it just felt like the production was missing something to really make it amazing.

avatar

Piran

2

I was surprised by the drug references, but yeah, Camila made a good choice sending releasing the radio edit along with the original. Airplay seems to be a strong metric for Camila anyway.
Do you think her debut album can go to #1 then? There don't seem to be many other contenders, so I'm predicting it can! ;)

avatar

Piran

1

I think the performances are from 6-10pm according to the TV Guide. I've got Freeview & I can get Capital FM on Channel 724.
That said, the Big Top 40 is probably going to get moved to Heart on the Sunday.

avatar

Foxes

2

That does sound quite likely, but since he said that his trick was "coming out next week" I'd say that there's also going to be a new remix. And now I can get hopeful for a Camila remix again! :D
After spending so long waiting for Camila's debut, I'm so happy that it finally has a release date! And that the release date is only 5 weeks away just makes it even better!
As for 'Real Friends', I would "only" have given it a 9/10 on my very first listen, but it quickly grew on me and is now one of my favourite tracks, if not my favourite track, of all time.

avatar

Foxes

2

I was actually rooting for the drug references! In her first live performance of the track, she said "nicotine, nicotine, whoo-whee", and then in a live performance soon after she went with the final version "nicotine, heroine, morphine". And that was the version I'd gotten used to over the past few months. But then in a live performance just a few days before the tracks were announced, she went with the radio edit "nicotine, rushin' me, touchin' me", and it just sounded a bit odd for me since I'd become accustomed to the other version.
I'm definitely glad she put out both versions though, so I can listen to the version I'm used to and she can get off to a strong start on radio.

avatar

Piran

2

That would be an amazing collaboration for sure, but a bit of an ironical one, considering it was Ed who knocked Camila from the #1 spot. :P
I still feel a bit bad for Rita Ora though, as I was really hoping for 'Anywhere' to get at least one week at #1. :/
Wow... of all-time? How many weeks do you think it can get at #1 on your Crown Note chart for then? :)

avatar

Foxes

2

I was really happy that 'Perfect' was the song to knock 'Havana' off the top spot, since, when 'Havana' first got to #1, MistaJam (or was Greg James still on at that point..?) called her and one of the questions he asked was "Which song would you like to replace 'Havana' at the top?". And of course she answered 'Perfect'. At the time, I didn't think much of it since I didn't think that 'Havana' would spend so long at #1 and I didn't think that 'Perfect' would get to #1... but here we are today. :D
Yeah, I felt kind of bad for 'Anywhere' as well, but at least it's in good company with 'Castle on the Hill' and 'Galway Girl' as great songs that peaked at #2 this year (unless it can get to #1, which I doubt at this point).
I'd give 'Real Friends' at least 6 weeks, since the longest running #1 so far is 'Havana' with 8 weeks, and every other song apart from 'Mercy' and 'New Man' has only got 1 week, with those 2 getting 2 weeks. 'Havana' had a non-consecutive run at the top, first getting 4 weeks, then 2 more, then 1 and then another 1, and I think 'Real Friends' will follow a fairly similar pattern.

avatar

Piran

1

Yeah, it's weird to get used to the original version of a song & then hear words changed instead of blanked. I remember hearing 'Humble' on YouTube a couple of weeks before I first heard it on the radio & even the introduction & one or two lines were completely changed, so it was so weird hearing the radio edit.
Speaking of Camila, I remember Capital & Radio 1 blanked the last part of the line: "Like the heat of a thousand fires" for a couple of weeks in June, after the Grenfell Tower tragedy. They did the same with one of the lines in 'One Last Time' too.
It's impressive how Camila has not even been out of Fifth Harmony for even a year yet (actually nine days from now), but she's already achieved things that even the group combined couldn't.
Well I'm a bit tired to be honest with you, but it was fun chatting & I'll speak to you on the Official Chart Update on Monday. Have a good weekend! :D

avatar

Foxes

1

Is that why that line was blanked? I remember hearing that but couldn't figure out why it was blanked, but now that makes much more sense. I really should've figured that out before.
See you on Monday, and you have a good weekend too! :D

avatar

Calum Pk7

3

well, I think she has a good chance! depends on the success of these two tbh

avatar

Calum Pk7

2

I hope so! id probably give Love incredible about 7.25/10 right now. its not my least favourite of hers, Hey Ma is at about 6.5/10 and tbh CITC has got quite generic lately so could be about 7 aswell.
but at best performance, all were like at least 9/10! :)

avatar

Calum Pk7

2

oh yeah and id say I have questions is like 6.5/10 aswell. bad things id still say is at least 7.5 tho, as it is one of my very favourite songs of all time!

avatar

Calum Pk7

2

well, NBTS is at #59 on Spotify, and I worked out it would've been #39 if It wasn't Christmastime, which is good! I couldn't see Real Friends in the top 200 tho so it might not be there unless I missed it :/

avatar

Foxes

1

They're definitely doing better across the world than they are here. Globally 'Never Be The Same' and 'Real Friends' debuted at #42 and #96, in the US they debuted at #66 and #57 (yes, 'Real Friends' did better than 'Never Be The Same' in the US), but in the UK they only debuted at #59 and N/A. I was hoping they'd do much better on streams, but hopefully they can climb throughout the week.

avatar

Piran

1

Camila's never had a Top 40 debut in the UK has she? It would be cool if 'Never Be The Same' was the first song of hers to do so. :)

avatar

Piran

1

None of the radio presenters commented on why they blanked it, but I'm fairly sure that's why. What other reason would they blank it for?
By the way, I've got a new chart up on Crown Note if you want to take a look! :)

yeah it would be! I just really hope it stays consistent all week :)

shes currently at #40, but #31 if it wasn't for Christmas songs

avatar

Piran

1

The problem is, 'Never Be The Same' is only at #125 on Spotify today, while 'Real Friends' isn't even in the Top 200.
Oh well, I'm sure the former will gain traction eventually like 'Crying In The Club' & 'Havana' did! :)

avatar

Calum Pk7

2

well, it was #59 on Spotify yesterday, so could easily climb again. bear in mind, Christmas songs are playing a huge role in its drop. come early January, I'm sure it will do well. I just hope it can debut straight away

That's true. Camila's album release will give both songs an additional boost for sure.
I wonder if we're going to get an official video for either song. 'Havana' is still my favourite video of 2017 so far! ;)

yeah, the album will for sure give a boost, as will a mv if one comes. I think tbh if one or both are successful they'll get one, if not they wont. or maybe shell make one for publicity.
oh, so Havana's mv has overtaken LWYMMD's? I remember you saying you preferred that at the time! :)

Yeah, because while the 'Look What You Made Me Do' video had a lot of action & clever details in it that reflect Taylor's life, 'Havana' was such a fun video & it makes me think that Camila could be a very successful actress too, as well as an incredible pop star! ;)

yeah, both videos are great! although I'm a bit sick of the song LWYMMD now, tbh :/
yeah, the acting was really good! I really enjoyed the very over-the-top grandma and sister too!
anyway, ive finished compiling my next chart, so its going up now! :)

I mostly check out 'Look What You Made Me Do' on YouTube for the video more than the song at this point. It'll probably drop out of my charts next week, but it's a shame that you got tired of it so quick.
Apparently, another 'Perfect' remix is coming after all & it's featuring... Andrea Bocelli! What are your thoughts on that?

yeah, the video is defo better than the song. cmon its not that quick... its been a third of a year! it is quite a repetitive song tho so its surely understandable that once you begin to dislike it you get sick of it.
well a bit of a strange decision... tbh all ive ever heard of Andrea Bocelli was when he performed at Leicester's champions game in 2015! :)

Yeah, with 'Havana' though, I still like the song just as much as I do the video.
Fair enough. To be honest, the past three months have felt like three weeks to me, haha.
I think this feature is going to be good, but I doubt it's going to do anything significant in terms of chart performance.

Who are you Prian, do you work for OCC. Do are you just a chart nerd in your spare time like the rest of us?

Bit of a mess in the chart again ~ Ed Sheehan - Perfect & Ed Sheehan & Beyonce - Perfect duet has been combined to make it No.1
(in reality Perfect came out first, charted twice in 2017 then the new version released 30th November 2017 ~ thus two catalogue numbers)
