Official Singles Chart Update on 5/12/2022

I feel like Hide and Seek is not going to drop as bad as it suggests on the midweek charts. It will probably drop 8 places instead of 18 dreadful places. I believe this is all amazon streams and therefore the widweek chart is not accurate.

Amazon and it’s fraud oml

tbh its not fraud, its just the others didn't submit their data soon enough! spotify took ages to refresh tho so by friday all the data will be there and it'll be much more accurate

Escapism. should be above Anti-Hero, it’s been above for THREE DAYS with the original alone, and combined with the sped up it’s been ahead for about a week! This is bs OCC and you know it! Shame on you for letting an independent artist down

no i get you, but from the data they've recieved (amazon mainly) anti-hero is ahead - once the data from everywhere else is included it will be more accurate and raye will almost certainly be ahead! this is the first update, theres plenty of time and it'll be sorted by the final chart! :)

Besides, Christmas songs have historically been known to chart higher in midweek updates than in the final chart!

My main point is that ‘Escapism’ will be higher by Friday, even taking Christmas completely out of the equation!

‘Escapism’ overtook ‘Anti-Hero’ on streaming & is starting to take off on sales (but this update includes data before the latter) & I can’t find any reason as to why ‘Firebabe’ is still climbing like it is. 🤔

there’s more to the charts than just the spotify charts lol. also with the amount of versions of anti-hero, it’s possible that raye doesn’t even lead there (#200 has about 65k, so each of taylors remix could potentially be doing that)

simply, raye is at #6 due to the data coming mainly from amazon where escapism isnt doing as well as on spotify or apple. by the end of the week, all the data will be included and she'll almost ceretainly be higher, remember this is an UPDATE not an official chart
