The Official best-selling cassette singles and albums of 2024

Official Charts can confirm today that Dua Lipa had the biggest cassette single of 2024, while Sabrina Carpenter secured the biggest cassette album.

Dua comes out on top with Training Season, the kinetic ABBA-esque second single from third LP Radical Optimism which peaked at Number 4 on the Official Singles Chart.

Dua also has two more Radical Optimism singles chart inside the Top 10; Houdini (5) and Illusion (6). Catch her or she goes!

Coming in at second and third place on the list of 2024's biggest cassette singles, we have two tracks from Kylie Minogue's 2024 Number 1 album Tension II; My Oh My with Bebe Rexha and Tove Lo (2) and Lights, Camera, Action (3).

Sabrina Carpenter completes our year-end Top 5 with her frothy chart-topper Espresso (4), while two Little Mix solo singles complete the Top 10 - Perrie's Forget About Us (7) and JADE's Angel Of My Dreams (8) - as well as DJO's End of Beginning (9) and Ariana Grande's We Can't Be Friends (Wait For Your Love) at Number 10.

Other 2024 singles to make the year-end Top 20 include Perrie's Tears (11) and You Go Your Way (13), as well as JADE's soulful Fantasy (15).

The Official best-selling cassette albums of 2024

Sabrina Carpenter's Short N' Sweet has ended 2024 as the biggest cassette album of the year in the UK.

The sixth album from Sab proved to be her long awaited commericial breakthrough. It spent two weeks atop the Official Albums Chart last year and was recently the third biggest LP of the year overall.

Coming in at Number 2, we have Dua Lipa's third album Radical Optimism, another former chart-topper last year and the biggest overall album of 2024, Taylor Swift's The Tortured Poets Department at Number 3.

The Top 5 is completed by Bring Me The Horizon's POST HUMAN: NeX GEn (4) and Kings of Leon's Can We Please Have Fun? (5).
