The Greatest Showman is outselling the Top 100 combined on this week's UK DVD chart
From the Official Albums Chart to the Official Video Chart, success continues for The Greatest Showman.
The Greatest Showman's soundtrack has already spent 15 non-consecutive weeks at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart, and now the movie's home entertainment release is eyeing a top spot of its own.
Released this past Monday, the musical film starring Hugh Jackman, Michelle Williams and Zac Efron has shifted an incredible 329,000 copies on DVD & Blu-ray in just three days, and is already the second fastest-selling product of 2018 so far.
Currently occupying the Number 1 position on the Official Video Chart Update, the movie is outselling the rest of the Top 100 combined.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is currently the year's most popular release in its opening week, with sales of 582,000 in its first seven days; will The Greatest Showman manage a higher total? Find out when Sunday's final Official Video Chart is published.
New entries and high climbers
Elsewhere in the Top 5, there are new entries from Batman Ninja (3) and All The Money In The World starring Mark Wahlberg at 5. Also impacting the Top 10 at the midweek stage are crime drama Molly's Game (6) and monster movie Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell at 8.
Ever wanted to see Steven Seagal and Mike Tyson face off? Well now you can in Tribal Warfare, a new entry at Number 18. Fantasy epic Dragon Mountain is eyeing the Number 24 spot, and there's another prospective new entry from Series Three of The Durrells (30).
Finally, classic 1991 Disney movie The Rocketeer lands at Number 34 following its Blu-ray release.
