Taylor Swift named IFPI's Global Recording Artist for record fourth time
Taylor Swift has officially been crowned the world's biggest-selling recording artist for a record fourth time.
The superstar - who claimed UK Number 1 albums with Midnights, Speak Now (Taylor's Version) and 1989 (Taylor's Version) last year - secures IFPI’s 2023 Global Recording Artist of the Year Award; an achievement which recognises the biggest artists across physical sales, downloads and streaming.
Beating off competition from the likes of K-pop juggernauts SEVENTEEN and Stray Kids, as well as Drake and The Weeknd, Taylor has now won the award in 2014, 2019, 2022 and 2023; more times than any other artist in history.

Morrison added that Swift "is a singular talent and her commitment to her craft and her fans is truly phenomenal."
