Midnights is the tenth studio album from American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. Released on October 21 2022, the record saw Swift team up with regular collaborator Jack Antonoff of Bleachers on co-writing and production duties, and houses such hit singles as Anti-Hero and Karma.
Upon reaching Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart in October 2022, Midnights saw Taylor claim the biggest opening week of her career to date, with its 204,000 UK chart sales across seven days more than doubling her previous best at the time (1989 accumulated 90,300 UK chart sales in its first week in 2014).
Moreover, Midnights earned Taylor Swift an Official Chart Record in the process. At the time, Taylor overtook Madonna to generate the fastest succession of nine UK Number 1 albums of any female artist.
