Sabrina Carpenter’s Please Please Please makes it four non-consecutive weeks atop the Official Singles Chart, as she replaces herself at Number 1 once again.

Displacing her own enduring smash Espresso (9), Sabrina has now occupied the Number 1 spot for a total of 11 weeks in 2024; the most since Olivia Rodrigo spent 14 non-consecutive weeks at the top in 2021 with drivers license (nine weeks) and good 4 u (five weeks).

However, hot on Sabrina Carpenter’s heels is Billie Eilish, whose enduring track BIRDS OF A FEATHER lifts three to Number 2, a new peak for the track, and Chappell Roan, who sees breakout hit Good Luck, Babe! Also reach a new peak of Number 3. Further down, the Missouri-born pop auteur claims a further two Singles Chart peaks: Hot To Go! rises eight to enter the Top 20 for the first time (19), and Red Wine Supernova rebounds nine (39).

Congratulations are in order for BTS star Jimin who nets his second Official Top 10 single, this week’s highest new entry, and a solo career-best, with Who (4). Last year, the K-pop idol scored his first solo Top 10 entry with Like Crazy (8).

Myles Smith’s Stargazing (5) enjoys a brand-new peak, entering the Top 5 for the first time.

Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall (now known by the mononym JADE) celebrates her debut single Angel Of My Dreams (7) entering straight into the Top 10. Angel Of My Dreams, co-written and produced by RAYE collaborator Mike Sabbath, is the last debut solo release from the Little Mix camp, following Leigh-Anne’s 2023 introduction Don’t Say Love (11) and Perrie’s Forget About Us (10).

Would much rather have had Billie or Chappell at #1 tbh. 'Please Please Please' is fine but I'm getting tired of it now.

Happy to see JADE's debut single in the Top 10! 😊
