Sabrina Carpenter’s Taste always leaves quite the impression – today, it celebrates five weeks (to be exact!) at Number 1 in the UK.
This now means that Sabrina has spent no less than seventeen weeks at Number 1 in the UK in 2024, with Espresso (7 weeks), Please Please Please (5 weeks) and Taste (5 weeks).
Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars continue to rise with their collaboration Die With A Smile now up to a brand-new peak of Number 4 – could we see it challenge for the top spot in the next few weeks?
She’s H-O-T-T-O-G-O! Chappell Roan sashays up two with kitschy camp hit HOT TO GO! (7), while the Lana Del Rey-esque Pink Pony Club also reaches new heights today, up six (15) to place in the Top 20 for the first time.
Also gaining ground, Sonny Fodera, Jazzy and D.O.D move up one with Somedays now hitting a new peak of Number 9.
Just outside the Top 10, Gigi Perez’s viral sensation Sailor Song floats up two (11), Teddy Swims’ The Door jumps three (13) and Gracie Abrams’ bracing I love you, I’m sorry moves to a new peak (17).
NDOTZ celebrates his first UK Top 20 single today with Embrace It, vaulting up 16 spots (20), becoming a landmark moment for the UK MC, who has seen the song blow up on TikTok.
Billie Eilish’s Wildflower hits a new peak (23), and Coldplay’s feelslikeimfallinginlove rebounds six (31), while US TikToker turned singer-songwriter Alex Warren sees two singles chart in the Top 40 today; Carry You Home is up seven (32) and Burning Down is a brand-new entry (35).
Pop siren Addison Rae’s luxuriant Diet Pepsi enters the Top 40 for the first time today (37), becoming the viral star’s first ever UK Top 40 hit.
Finally, South Korean singer Jimin (of BTS) rebounds 10 places with Who (40), re-entering the Top 40 for the first time in six weeks.
