Sabrina Carpenter scores Official Christmas Number 1 album with Short N' Sweet

Congratulations to Sabrina Carpenter, who caps off the biggest year of her life with the Official Christmas Number 1 album 2024!
Sab’s sixth LP Short N’ Sweet returns to Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart for a second non-consecutive week, having initially topped the charts upon its release in September.
The pop pocket rocket beats Canadian Christmas crooner Michael Bublé to the top spot, with his album Christmas settling for Number 2 in the festive chart.
Chappell Roan’s former chart-topper The Rise And Fall of a Midwest Princess rises three places week-on-week (3), the closing chapter on the most extraordinary breakout year for the US indie-pop starlet.
South Yorkshire indie-rock band The Reytons secure a third UK Top 10 album, and fifth Top 40, with Live LP Clifton Park (5). They previously topped the Official Albums Chart in 2023 with What’s Rock and Roll?, and landed at Number 2 in 2024 with Ballad of a Bystander.
Teddy Swims’s debut album I Tried Everything But Therapy – Pt. 1 reaches its highest-ever peak in the UK today (12), while The Cure’s former Number 1 Songs of a Lost World re-enters the Top 20 (17).
Rap icons Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre’s collaborative album Missionary is a new entry inside the Top 40 (24), giving Snoop his eighth and Dre his third Top 40 album in the UK.
RAYE’s acclaimed debut My 21st Century Blues blasts back into the Top 40 just in time for Christmas (37), while Dua Lipa’s Live from the Royal Albert Hall breaks into the Top 40 for the first time, thanks to its live show airing on ITV last weekend (40).
