Chappell Roan's ascent to pop's A-list seems secured with three tracks present in the Top 40 today.
Sabrina Carpenter asked – and you answered! Please Please Please settles in for a second week at Number 1 in the UK.
The second chart-topping single from the US pop princess, Please Please Please logged 8.6 million streams this week, once again making it the most-streamed track in the country for a second week in a row.
Following her record-breaking ascent last week, Sabrina makes Official Chart history again this week - she's now the youngest female artist to ever achieve two consecutive weeks at both Number 1 and Number 2 (with Espresso this week), surprassing previous record-holder Ariana Grande.
Another superstar in the making, indie-pop darling Chappell Roan finally arrives in the UK Top 10 today with the sapphic lament Good Luck, Babe! (7).
It’s Chappell’s first ever Top 10, but the good news doesn’t stop there. In a move sure to prove her to be one of the most popular emerging talents right now, two more singles taken from The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess album are also present in the wider Top 40 today; HOT TO GO! (33) and Red Wine Supernova (40).

Charli xcx earns a third Top 40 hit from BRAT today with girl, so confusing (28), thanks to the release of its viral remix featuring Lorde, marking Charli’s 17th Top 40 hit and Lorde’s fifth, while Jordan Adetunji’s KEHLANI becomes the Belfast alt-hip-hop star’s first-ever Top 40 Official Chart entry (29).
Post Malone and Blake Shelton’s Pour Me A Drink debuts at Number 34, becoming Posty’s 23rd UK Top 40 single and the first ever for country icon Shelton.
As she celebrates her first UK Number 1 album, Gracie Abrams adds a second UK Top 40 single to her tally with us.. Featuring none other than Taylor Swift, the track debuts at Number 37.
Finally, Ariana Grande’s the boy is mine leaps 25 places to enter the Top 40 for the first time (39) following the release of a remix with Brandy and Monica last week. It’s officially Ariana Grande’s 35th UK Top 40 single.
