Foam always rises to the top! Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso is back to bring caffeination to the nation as it returns to Number 1 in the UK.

The frothy, funky smash hit bounces back to the top of the Official Singles Chart, with Sabrina’s own Please Please Please dropping down to Number 2. Sabrina is the first artist to replace herself at Number 1 since December 2021, when Ed Sheeran and Elton John managed it two weeks in a row with Merry Christmas and that year’s Official Christmas Number 1, Sausage Rolls For Everyone with LadBaby.

Espresso now claims its sixth non-consecutive week at Number 1 in the UK, and reclaims its spot as the most-streamed track in the country (6.3 million streams).

Moreover, Sabrina extends her record as the female artist to concurrently occupy Numbers 1 and 2 for the most weeks consecutively, now matching Justin Bieber with four weeks.

Following their semi-final win against the Netherlands to ascend into the final of the Euros 2024 against Spain, support for the England football team continues to swell, with record-breaking footballing anthem Three Lions by David Baddiel, Frank Skinner & The Lightning Seeds soaring 53 places back into the Top 20 (20) and surely set to rise even further next week if it does, indeed, come home.

Belfast singer and rapper Jordan Adetunji’s KEHLANI reaches a new peak (21), as do Chappell Roan’s deliriously camp HOT TO GO! (24) and Bl3SS, CamrinWatsin & bbyclose’s Kisses (26).

The Kid LAROI lifts two on Nights Like This (28), Eminem, Big Sean and BabyTron’s Tobey rockets 49 places (29), becoming Eminem’s 47th, Big Sean’s seventh and BabyTron’s first UK Top 40 single.

And finally, Quavo and Lana Del Rey’s country-trap link-up Tough lassoes itself a Number 32 debut as this week’s highest new entry. It’s the seventh solo Top 40 hit for Migos rapper Quavo, and the 13th for Lana.

Well done to Sabrina on replacing herself at #1!

Good to see 'Kehlani' and 'Hot To Go!' moving nearer to the Top 20. :)
