Sabrina Carpenter makes history (again!) as Espresso hits Number 1 for a seventh week

Sabrina's caffeinated banger now draws level with Noah Kahan's Stick Season, and equals a chart record set by Ed Sheeran.

Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso enjoys a seventh non-consecutive week at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart today.

Espresso now joins Noah Kahan’s Stick Season, which reigned at Number 1 for seven consecutive weeks at the start of the year. Espresso remains the most-streamed song in the country for the past week while Sabrina dominates the Top 2 slots of the Official Singles Chart, with Please Please Please coming in at Number 2.

Sabrina is now in joint-first place as the artist to spend the most consecutive weeks occupying both Number 1 and Number 2 concurrently, matching Ed Sheeran with five weeks.

Following the release of The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace), Eminem’s former chart-topper Houdini rebounds up three to Number 4. He also sinks two further entries from the LP in the wider Top 20; Habits ft. White Gold (11) and Renaissance (13) bringing his Top 40 singles total to 49.

Football may not have come home, but widespread support for England in the Euros 2024 final against Spain sees David Baddiel, Frank Skinner and The Lightning Seeds bounce up to Number 8 this week with Three Lions. England fans’ embrace of Bruce Springsteen’s 1984 classic Dancing In The Dark to sing the praises of footballer Phil Foden at the Euros 2024 has paid off - the song re-enters the UK Top 40 for the first time today in 39 years (36). The last time Dancing In The Dark was in the Top 40 was April 1985.

A link-up between two of the most popular new faces in modern rap, Ice Spice and Central Cee’s Did It First debuts at Number 15 today. It becomes Ice Spice’s third UK Top 40 hit, and Central Cee’s 26th.

Bl3ss, CamrinWatsin & bbyclose’s Kisses lifts two to Number 24 and finally, Adam Port, Stryv and KeineMusik’s Move enters the Top 40 for the first time, jumping seven to Number 39.

I'm protest voting the 3rd place Shaboozey right now he already had his time on the 2nd Official Chart The Official Big 40 which because the rubber banding bull is being allowed unlimited he isn't allowed thee Number 1 here and I don't want him to be robbed like Teddy Swims was.

YouTube Audio and YouTube Video both open at once so I can change 2 separates chart results at once with people power instead of labels powers.

We want change we better vote for it I guess with brute force with the sound off letting it stream 100 times in 2 windows all day. lol

I've listened to both songs only once...very average and so I'm surprised this mediocrity has gone so far... But then it must be a shame that there's literally nothing better to go in it's place? Literally anything? Sad times.

I'm in the protest vote as of right now gonna hammer that Shaboozey like the sun won't shine with the sound off and both YouTube Music Audio and Video modes loaded changing 2 separates at once getting results.

I am starting to detest K-OCC's unlimited rubberbanding to Top of thee Pops and every track that gets a rubber band is becoming boring for me by default now even if I love a track before this charts behavior makes me hate the tracks after a robin hood rule of 16 weeks in the Top 40 and 10 weeks in the Top 10 and more than 5 Weeks at Top of the Pops.

Well done to Sabrina, but I kind of want to see a new artist at #1 now.

Definitely didn't expect Bruce Springsteen to return to the Top 40 today!

They should go clean sheets weekly on the incoming units and 200-100-40 cutdowns only coming in on Friday something to prevent miscounting eliminate the 200 pools with anti track bias make it a level playing field all artists the UK listens to during the week in there.

And more importantly gone would be those who haven't done well the next week on clean sheets with no tracks in it weekly.

Sabrina only gets 1 or 2 units this week she is out as she can't retain if she doesn't do the same sort of numbers again in clean sheet chart rules which doesn't add a units to a previous weeks.

I'm off to protest vote some Shaboozey in a YouTube Audio and Video mode to protest vote 2 separates at once with the sound off on repeat mode to clock the track whilst doing other stuff.

Whilst I'm of course listening to SWEET TENDER LOVE - Junior Giscombe in the background for real a new real style dance music by an 80s artist on the show I'm listening to at the same time as the Shaboozey is protest voting on 2 charts.
