Pabllo Vittar 'can't wait' for Mighty Hoopla festival performance
This Bank Holiday weekend, the biggest names in pop will descend upon London's Brockwell Park for Mighty Hoopla festival. Across Friday 3 and Saturday 4 June, everyone from Steps and Sugababes to Self Esteem and actual Samantha Fox will perform to 25,000 folk at the capital's most inclusive festival.
One of those taking to the Hoopla stage this Saturday is Latin Grammy nominee and all-round delight Pabllo Vittar. Fresh from her recent collab with Rina Sawayama on Follow Me, we caught up with Pabllo for a chinwag about her return to the UK.

Hey, Pabllo. Your latest single Follow Me is an absolute banger. How did the collaboration with Rina come about?
Thank you! I've been working on that song for a couple of years now and Rina's voice and attitude are just perfect for it, so I invited her to do the collab and she said yes.
It's been two years since your last studio album, can we expect another any time soon?
I'm planning to release some singles for 2022 and a brand new studio album probably for next year. We're working on it right now.
What's one life lesson you've taken from the past couple of years?
Love the ones around you and say it to them at every opportunity.
How did you manage to maintain your creativity over the various lockdowns? Did you find that difficult?
Every experience can be turned into a creative one, even the most horrible ones. I tried to and it was hard, but we've gotta keep working, right?

You're such a great role model for the LGBTQIA+ community, but which other LGBT-identifying artists do you love?
My friend Urias! She is a Brazilian singer-songwriter that I'm obsessed with her music and stage presence. She's fire. You've gotta listen to her and watch her videos!
You're playing Mighty Hoopla festival on Saturday June 4, you must be excited?
I'm so excited to be back in the UK for Mighty Hoopla. I can't wait to see you there.
