At the close of the first quarter, Harry Styles claims the Official biggest album of 2026 so far with Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally.

After just four weeks on the chart, Harry’s fourth studio set comes out top on the year-to-date list, having racked up 226,000 combined UK chart units since its release in March, according to Official Charts Company data.

The global superstar’s third chart-topping LP, Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally. earned Harry not only the biggest opening week of his career, but the biggest for a male solo artist in almost a decade too, since Ed Sheeran’s ÷ (Divide) in 2017.

The record's chart-topping lead single, Aperture, also bags the biggest new British single release of the year so far too.

With Harry embarking on his Together, Together tour – including a record-breaking 12-night run at London’s Wembley Stadium – this summer, can Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally. maintain this momentum to match his third studio project Harry’s House, which was crowned the UK’s Official biggest album of 2022?

BRITs Album of the Year 2026, Olivia Dean’s The Art of Loving, narrowly misses out on the year-to-date top spot. Sitting just 2,600 combined UK chart units behind Harry Styles so far this year, the Walthamstow singer-songwriter’s second studio collection comes in at Number 2.

It’s been a buoyant start to 2026 for British music, with homegrown talent topping 13 of the first 14 weeks of the year on the Official Albums Chart. British artists occupied the Number 1 spot for the first 11 weeks of the year, the first time we’d witnessed such an unbroken run of form since 2016.

Elsewhere in the year-to-date Top 5, we find two transcendent hits compilations: Fleetwood Mac’s 50 Years – Don’t Stop (3) and The Weeknd’s The Highlights (4). Sabrina Carpenter’s enduring Man’s Best Friend rounds out the Top 5.

Breakout British talent EsDeeKid earns the biggest rap album of 2026 so far. The enigmatic scouse star’s debut, Rebel, is in at Number 21.

An array of homegrown acts land on the list with their latest releases. Mumford & Sons’ Prizefighter, which saw the trio secure the UK’s 1400th Official Number 1 LP in the Official Albums Chart’s 70th anniversary year, is at Number 24.

At Number 26 is Robbie Williams’ record-breaking BRITPOP. Banking the Stoke superstar his 16th chart-topping LP as a solo artist, it saw Robbie surpass The Beatles to become the artist with more Number 1 albums than any other artist in UK Official Chart history.

At the time, Robbie Williams told Official Charts: “BRITPOP is the record I’ve always wanted to make, and seeing it become my 16th Number 1 album means everything to me. Thank you to all the fans who have been with me every step of the way. You’ve made my dreams come true.”

After reaching the Official Albums Chart summit for a third time in March, fellow Brits Gorillaz bag a spot on the year-to-date chart with ninth LP The Mountain (32), as does Charli xcx with her third chart-topper Wuthering Heights (39).

Other big new 2026 releases making the list come courtesy of American country star Zach Bryan’s With Heaven On Top (33) and K-pop idols BTS with their chart-topping comeback release ARIRANG (35).

@OfficialCharts - when you do these type of posts, can you possibly do another chart of albums/singles that were actually released in the year you're referencing (i.e. 2026 only)? Only titles released on 1 January 2026 until whatever date in 2026? Thanks.
