Noah Kahan’s Stick Season starts strong for fourth consecutive week at Number 1
But could Sophie Ellis-Bextor catch up?
Noah Kahan makes a strong start to secure a straight month at Number 1 with Stick Season (1), currently 7,000 chart units ahead of its nearest competition midweek.
Stick Season has proved to be the true definition of a chart grower, planting the seeds for its supremacy well before Christmas last year. The success of the track - which was a breakthrough success for Noah in the UK - has seen many tracks from his third album of the same name climb up the Official Singles Chart too.
Which is handy, because this week’s highest new entry could also go to the Vermont singer-songwriter. Noah’s brand-new version of Homesick with Sam Fender is expected to debut at Number 3.
Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s Murder on the Dancefloor isn’t going anywhere just yet, up one midweek to a possible re-peak (2).
TikTok star Benson Boone has his sights set on his highest-peaking UK single yet with Beautiful Things (13), which would be his first to enter the Top 20.
And finally, just outside the Top 20 midweek, is Becky Hill & Sonny Fodera’s latest collaboration Never Be Alone (22).

Good to see 'Murder On The Dancefloor' return to the runner-up position. Hopefully it gets at least a week at #1 despite how strong 'Stick Season' is right now!
