Just want to point out that The Script (whose previous albums, bar one, have all gone straight to number one) release their seventh studio album Satellites TODAY. It is their first album since the untimely passing of founder, guitarist, songwriter and coproducer Mark Sheehan. Not sure why it doesn't seem to even merit a mention in the listings here. The release date has been known for a good while, many fans pre ordered their copies months ago, so hopefully another number one for them.

It's been beautiful to see the meltdowns over an artist simply going against industry norms and rerecording their previous work to claim ownership of it.
You'd think it was easy to make them successful, recording duplicate copies of your previous work and releasing it again - on paper they should flop, not even chart, let alone reach number 1 and be certified platinum.
More power to her, I hope you enjoy seeing the final two instalments of the project hit the chart later this year / in 2025 :)
