Lana Del Rey announces two potential release dates for new album Chemtrails Over The Country Club

Lana Del Rey has revealed two potential release dates for her new album, Chemtrails Over The Country Club. 

The LP will be Lana's sixth studio release under her moniker, her latest was the critically acclaimed Norman F**king Rockwell, which sailed to Number One on the UK Official Albums Chart, and was nominated for Album of the Year at the 2020 Grammy's. 

The record, produced by frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff, has been teased by the Video Games songstress for much of this year, but it now appears that fans can either expect it to arrive at the tail-end of the year, or at the very beginning of 2021. 

During an LA book signing for the star's poetry anthology Violet Bent Over The Grass Backwards (the accompanying spoken world album is set for a Top 20 debut on the Official Albums Chart this week), a fan recorded Lana revealing that the record could drop either on December 10 this year, or January 3 2021.

On the prospective delay, Lana explained: "Because of the vinyl process being 11 weeks, it could be, like, January 7."

Lana will look for Chemtrails Over The Country Club to become her fifth UK Number 1 album; all but one of her LPs (the understated Honeymoon) hitting the top spot here in the UK. Lana Del Rey one of the female solo artists with the most Number 1 albums on the UK Official Albums Chart.  

Earlier this year, Lana cancelled her entire UK and European tour in support of Normal F**king Rockwell, five days before she was supposed to kick-off a show in London.
