Hozier tops the Official Singles Chart for the second week in a row with Too Sweet.

Last week, the rollicking track became Andrew John Hozier-Byrne’s first Number 1 single in the UK, seeing him become the first Irish solo artist to top the UK Singles Chart since Ronan Keating in 2002. Too Sweet stays at the summit this week, showing a 17% increase week-on-week (72,000 chart units), and is once again the most-streamed track in the UK over the last seven days (7.9 million streams).

Congratulations are in order for Sabrina Carpenter, who earns the first Top 10 single of her career as the frothy Espresso debuts at Number 6. The US multihyphenate has previously logged three Top 40 entries in the UK; feather (19), Skin (28) and nonsense (32).

Country-pop sensation Dasha’s breakout hit Austin continues to rise, hitting a new peak of Number 7 today.

Dua Lipa’s Illusion is a new entry at Number 9. The third consecutive Top 10 single from her forthcoming third album Radical Optimism follows Houdini (2) and Training Season (4) and becomes her 16th UK Top 10 single.

Perrie’s debut solo single Forget About Us lands the Little Mix star a Number 10 solo debut.

Speaking exclusively to Official Charts, Perrie says:

“Top 10, wow! I can’t thank you enough for the love and support everyone has shown Forget About Us. It truly means the world to me!”

Rising US singer-songwriter Mark Ambor’s Belong Together climbs one to Number 13, while The Blessed Madonna and Clementine Douglas enter the Top 20 with Happier, up four to Number 17.

Bakar’s 2019 single Hell N Back jumps five to Number 21, thanks to the release of a new remix featuring Summer Walker. The track originally peaked at Number 20 in 2023.

It’s another week and another new peak for David Guetta & OneRepublic’s I Don’t Wanna Wait, which soars to Number 25, up twelve week-on-week.

Two rising stars claim their first UK Top 40 entries today; 19 year old rapper Lay Bankz is this week’s big gainer, flying a massive 61 places with Tell Ur Girlfriend (31), joined by LA-based alt-pop star Chappell Roan, whose bracing Good Luck, Babe! clambers up 31 slots (33).

She’s back! Natasha Bedingfield teams up with producer Badger for a remix of her classic hit These Words, which breaks into the Top 40 at Number 35. The original track topped the Official Singles Chart for two weeks in 2004.

Finally, South African star Tyla gains her second UK Top 40 hit with Jump featuring Gunna and Skillibeng (38). The track has already hit Number 1 on the Official Afrobeats Chart, and follows Tyla’s breakout smash Water, which peaked at Number 4.
