Dermot Kennedy claims the most weeks at Number 1 in 2019 on the Official Irish Albums Chart with Without Fear
Michael Buble's Christmas returns to the Top 5.
Dermot Kennedy ends 2019 at Number 1 on the Official Irish Albums Chart.
Without Fear has now spent seven non-consecutive weeks at the top, the most for any album this year. Dermot’s debut album leapfrogs fellow debut records Lewis Capaldi’s Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent (this week’s Number 2) and When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? by Billie Eilish (back in the Top 10 at Number 9), both of which managed six weeks leading the Top 50.

Michael Bublé is Top 5 once more with Christmas, up four places to Number 5, one slot ahead of last week’s chart topper Fine Line by Harry Styles, down five to Number 6.
Official Irish Charts’ Irish Act of the Decade The Script rise four slots with their sixth chart-topping LP Sunsets & Full Moons to 11, while Celine Dion returns to the Top 20 with Courage at 20.
Last year’s Christmas Number 1 album, the cast recording to A Star Is Born, is also still proving popular at the gifting time of year, scaling seven spots to Number 29.
