Who is JADE?

JADE is the moniker of Jade Thirlwall, formerly a member of the chart-topping UK girl group Little Mix. 

Kickstarting her solo career off with shapeshifting debut single Angel Of My Dreams, JADE became the first member of Little Mix to spend two weeks inside the UK Top 10 with a solo single (Angel Of My Dreams debuted and peaked at Number 7, returning for a second non-consecutive week at Number 10). 

As a solo artist, JADE's music is heavily indebted to maximalist, left-of-centre pop music. Angel Of My Dreams riffs on the likes of Scooter and Clubland Classics, while promo track Midnight Cowboy sounds like RAYE by way of Peaches, and second solo single Fantasy carries odes to both 90s Mariah Carey and the late-career of Jessie Ware.

With a debut solo album produced by Mike Sabath (RAYE, Shawn Mendes) and Cirkut (Lady Gaga, ROSÉ), JADE has clear ambitions to the title of Big Pop Girl...and the accolades began with Best Pop Act at the BRIT Awards 2025 - Jade's first solo BRITs win. Image: BRITs 2025/JM Enternational
