Ariana Grande streams her way to a fourth Number 1 on the Official Irish Albums Chart
Ariana Grande has got into position and achieved a fourth Number 1 on the Official Irish Albums Chart.
Positions, her sixth release, joins Dangerous Woman (2016), Sweetener (2018) and Thank U, Next (2019) in her collection of chart-topping LPs, collecting the most downloads and streams of the week.
With it, Ari becomes just one of four female solo artists to claim four (or more) Number 1 albums on the Irish Charts. And she's in great company, following Taylor Swift, Madonna and Beyonce. View the acts with the most Number 1 albums of the millennium here.
Trailing at Number 3 is Sam Smith with their third album Love Goes, the second-highest entry of the week. The British singer-songwriter's first two releases, In The Lonely Hour (2014) and The Thrill Of It All (2017) both peaked at Number 1.
