Uptown Funk tops Billboard Hot 100 for 12th week
Mark Ronson’s Uptown Funk featuring Bruno Mars claims a 12th week atop America’s Billboard Hot 100.
In doing so, the track becomes only the 15th chart-topper in the chart’s history to spend 12 weeks at the top. Only one other track – Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines FT T.I. and Pharrell – has spent 12 weeks at Number 1 this decade.
Uptown Funk racked up 187,000 downloads and 4.6 million U.S. streams over the week.
Maroon 5’s Sugar (2), Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud (3), Ellie Goulding’s Love Me Like You Do (4) and Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney’s FourFiveSeconds (5) all hold their positions to round out this week’s Top 5.
Elsewhere in the Top 10, Fetty Wap’s debut Trap Queen climbs two places to Number 8, and Flo Rida GDFR is up three places to 10.
