Stormzy and MNEK's Blinded By Your Grace Pt 2 climbs to Number 1 on the Official Trending Chart

Plus listen to the Top 20 songs making a big impact in the UK this week, including this year's Children In Need single and Raye's Decline.

Stormzy's latest single Blinded By Your Grace Pt 2 takes the Number 1 spot on this week's Official Trending Chart, which tracks the Top 20 songs making the biggest impact in the UK this week.

The song, which features singer/songwriter/producer MNEK, is the fourth single taken from the rapper's debut album Gang Signs & Prayer, which debuted at Number 1 earlier this year.

Blinded By Your Grace first charted upon its parent album's release back in March, landing at Number 55 on the Official Singles Chart. Last month the song was upgraded to single status and subsequent live performances on The X Factor (with Labrinth, below) and Jonathan Ross have seen it scale the Top 40. This week it's on course to enter the Top 10 for the first time, currently at Number 7 in the latest update.

If it holds within the Top 10, it'll each earn Stormzy and MNEK their third top tier single on the Official Singles Chart.

Meanwhile, Katie Melua's Children In Need single Fields Of Gold makes a strong entry on the Official Trending Chart. Following her emotional performance of the Sting cover during last Friday's appeal, the track is set to become her first Top 40 single in seven years.

Brand new singles released last Friday (November 17) that already impact the trending Top 20 include Luis Fonsi and Demi Lovato's Spanglish number Echame La Culpa (which translates to Blame Me), while X Factor champ Matt Terry appears twice with The Thing About Love and Sucker For You ahead of his debut album release this week.

Finally, recently-released songs that are gaining traction in the UK include David Guetta's mega-collab Dirty Sexy Money ft. Afrojack, Charli XCX and French Montana, Jason Derulo's latest effort Tip Toe and Decline by rising star Raye.

The Official Trending Chart was launched in 2016 to highlight the hottest new tracks beginning to make an impact in the UK every week.

The Top 20 rundown, published on OfficialCharts.com every Tuesday, based on the first four days’ sales of each chart week, is designed to highlight emerging hits as they begin to scale the Official Charts and build buzz.

The Official Trending Chart ranks titles which are showing week-on-week chart growth, and is the only “new music” chart to reflect audio track sales and streams comprehensively across all services.
