Shortlist for Official Charts Pop Gem #61: Collaborations
We were looking for your favourite collabos for this week's Pop Gem, but which pop team-ups made it onto our shortlist?
Pop music is all about cooperation these days – a featured artist here, a guest rap there. So this week in our search for overlooked classics, we asked for your top COLLABORATIONS. Which tunes benefitted from a helping hand by one or more popstars or big producers?
You nominated your popstar team-ups and there was a brilliant selection. As ever, it was tough whittling them down, but whittle we did to a final 10.
And with four Number 1s in the last 10 contenders, we reckon this is the shortlist with the most chart-toppers yet. But can a Number 1 single still be a Pop Gem? We reckon so…
But which one of them is a Pop Gem? Who are you backing? If you need a refresher, take a look at all 10 tracks in our video playlist.
