Radio 1's Official Chart host Greg James is releasing a children's novel called Kid Normal
The Official Chart host will release Kid Normal in summer 2017.
Greg James - the host of our Official Chart show on BBC Radio 1 - is releasing a children's novel.
The book, called Kid Normal, has been penned by the DJ along with Radio 1's Newsbeat presenter Chris Smith.
Aimed at readers aged eight and over, the novel is about a boy called Murph whose mum enrols him at a school for superheroes. Unlike many of the other kids, Murph has no special abilities but he realises that doesn’t really matter when a bad guy with evil plans arrives on the scene.

Greg's first foray into children's books will be released in summer 2017 via publisher Bloomsbury.
The DJ took over as host of the Official Chart show in July 2015, when the day of the Top 40 reveal moved to Fridays to align with the new day for all music releases across the world.
