Nicole Scherzinger confirms she has signed a new record deal and will released new music next year
Good news for Nicole Scherzinger fans: the star has confirmed that she has signed a new record deal and will release music next year.
The singer broke news of the new deal to Huffington Post, denying reports that she was dropped by her former label Sony.
"I’ve got a new deal coming out," she said. “It was rumoured all this year that I was dropped and I actually wasn’t dropped.
"I was signing a new deal, with another label. We're still working on finalising the contract, which I am unable to speak too much about."
She continued: "I’m really excited about this project and new music that I’m putting together, and which will be released next year."
Nicole's last album Big Fat Lie peaked at Number 17 on the Official Albums Chart in November last year and spawned the Top 10 single Your Love. To date, the star has seven Top 10s as a solo artist, including the chart-topping Don't Hold Your Breath.
