Hans Zimmer's Man Of Steel soundtrack dominates this week’s Official Classical Singles Chart, with a staggering eight songs (40%) from the soundtrack to the new Superman film in the Top 20.

What Are You Going to Do When You Are Not Saving the World? tops this week’s chart, while Look To The Stars is new in at Number 2. Ignition (Number 4), I Will Find Him (7) and If You Love These People (8) also debut inside the Top 10.

In a recent interview with CNN, Zimmer revealed that he was only asked to score the film after being misquoted at a party.

"A journalist asked me if I was going to do Superman, and I hadn't even heard of it, so I went, 'Absolutely no way,'" said the composer. "Somehow in the noise of that party, that got misconstrued as 'Absolutely Hans is doing it.'

“It was all over the internet that I was doing Superman,” he added. “I'd never even met Zack [Man Of Steel producer Zack Snyder]! So I phoned him up, 'I'm really sorry, this wasn't my doing, this is a misunderstanding.' And he said, 'Oh! It's great that you phoned. Maybe we should meet and talk!'"

In related news, the Man Of Steel soundtrack entered the Official Albums Chart at Number 20 yesterday (Sunday, June 23).
