Mabel's Fine Line takes the Number 1 spot on this week's Official Trending Chart
Mabel takes the top spot on this week's Official Trending Chart with her latest single Fine Line.
The track, which features rapper Not3s, tops the list of songs making a big impact in the UK this week, based on movement up the Official Singles Chart (full chart methodology below).
Fine Line is shaping up to be the London singer's third hit on the Top 40, following Top 10 success with Finders Keepers ft. Kojo Funds and a guest spot on Not3s' My Lover remix, which peaked at 14.
On this week's Official Singles Chart, Fine Line is edging closer to the Top 10, currently up three places to Number 11 in the latest sales flash. Mabel's currently untitled debut album is expected to be released later this year.
Meanwhile, George Ezra zooms to Number 2 on the trending Top 20 as his single Paradise builds on radio and scales the Official Singles Top 40, set for a significant climb this week and could become his third Top 10 hit following Budapest and Blame It On Me.
Paradise features on George's new album Staying At Tamara's, which is out on March 23. This week also sees the singer-songwriter quiz Craig David on his rise, fall and rising again to fame. Have a listen here.
Other tracks that growing this week are Sigala and Paloma Faith's Lullaby, Bebe Rexha's Meant To Be ft. Florida Georgia Line, and Sean Paul's Mad Love ft. David Guetta and Becky G.
Elsewhere, UK rapper Dave is already making a big impact with his new single Hangman, a track inspired by the backlash he received for his comments on police stop and search and racism, and DJ Khaled's mega collab Top Off with Beyonce, Jay Z and Future is also off to a good start following its release last week.

About the Official Trending Chart
The Official Trending Chart was launched in 2016 to highlight the hottest new tracks beginning to make an impact in the UK every week.
The Top 20 rundown, published on OfficialCharts.com every Tuesday, based on the first four days’ sales of each chart week, is designed to highlight emerging hits as they begin to scale the Official Charts and build buzz.
The Official Trending Chart ranks titles which are showing week-on-week chart growth, and is the only “new music” chart to reflect audio track sales and streams comprehensively across all services.
Devised by the Official Charts Company in close consultation with labels, retailers and media, the chart since launch has highlighted emerging hits such as Number 1 singles Sign Of The Times by Harry Styles, New Rules by Dua Lipa and Taylor Swift's Look What You Made Me Do.
The chart is designed to help highlight hit singles in their early stages of their growth, in the light of the shift in release strategies of record labels over the past six months. Under “On Air On Sale”, labels have started to release new music for consumers to buy or stream on the same day as those tracks are released to media (including radio stations and TV).
