Little Mix confirm brand new single is coming soon
The girls also hinted we'd be seeing their fourth album before the end of the year.
Good news for anyone in desperate need of a Little Mix fix – new material is coming sooner than you'd think.
Speaking backstage before their performance at the V Festival in Chelmsford, the girls confirmed work on a follow-up to third album Get Weird was already well underway, with Leigh-Anne revealing they'd "already decided the next single" – before Jesy let slip we'd be hearing it in October.
On the subject of the fourth album, Jade said, "It's really exciting. We've been, like, nonstop in the studio, writing and recording, 'cos we wanna get it out this year".
The foursome remained tight-lipped about any possible future collaborations on the album, but it looks like we can expect one or two special guest appearances following Jason De Rulo's feature on Secret Love Song and Sean Paul's cameo on the single version of Hair. "We've made a few more famous friends along the way," was all Jesy was giving away.
Little Mix's most recent album, Get Weird, went straight in at Number 2 in November 2015 and after just two months on sale already became the band's biggest selling album. Get Weird spawned four Top 40 hits, including massive Number 1 Black Magic – the band's third chart-topper.
