Game of Thrones Season 5 is set to slay this week's Official Video Chart
To take a page out of Ygritte's book, for anyone who said Game of Thrones wouldn't dominate this week's Official Video Chart, 'you know nothing'.
Although we don't 100% know Jon Snow's fate for Season 6, we do know that Season 5 of GoT looks set to enter the Official Video Chart at Number 1, the third season in a row to do so.
The fantasy drama starring Kit Harington, Peter Dinklage and Gwendoline Christie is currently in pole position, having shifted over 118,000 copies at the midweek stage - and is outselling the rest of the Top 10 combined. There's certainly no shame... shame... shame in that.
Another new entry is Seasons 1-5 of the show bundled up, and that compilation lands at 24.
Meanwhile, last week's Number 1 - Maggie Smith's The Lady in the Van - drops one place to 2, Spectre holds firm at 3, The Last Witch Hunter falls two spots to Number 4 and a new entry - Dragon Blade starring Jackie Chan completes the Top 5.
New Entries and High Climbers
Aside from the Game of Thrones releases and Dragon Blade, there are another 10 new entries falling within the Top 40 at the mid-week stage. Children's animation Monsters High: Great Scarrier Reef is set for a Number 6 placing, while Kate Winslet's The Dressmaker starts at 7.
Further debuts come from Bruce Willis thriller Extraction (8), Call the Widwife Series 5 (11), Australian period drama A Place To Call Home Series 1-3 (18) and Thomas & Friends - Start Your Engines (23).
Further down the chart, horror film Prey lands at 28, Paw Patrol - Pups and the Pirate Treasure starts at 34 and final new entries come from Time Out of Mind (38) and Backtrack (39).
