Duke Dumont knocks Dvbbs and Borgeous' Tsunami (Jump) FT Tinie Tempah off Number 1 to claim his second chart-topping single with I Got U FT Jax Jones.

Congratulations to Duke Dumont, who has gone straight in at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart today with I Got U FT Jax Jones.

The house anthem, which is the London-based DJ and producer’s second chart-topping single in less than 12 months, samples the Whitney Houston classic My Love Is Your Love. I Got U’s predecessor, Need U 100% FT A*M*E, famously kept one of the most controversial Number 1 contenders of all-time, Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead, off the top spot last April following the death of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

Route 94’s My Love FT Jess Glynne holds firm at Number 2 today, while John Legend’s beautiful ballad, All Of Me, climbs three places to Number 3. This week’s Top 5 is completed by Pharrell WilliamsHappy (down one place to 4), and last week’s chart-topper, Tsunami (Jump) by Dvbbs, Borgeous and Tinie Tempah (down four to Number 5).

New Entries and High Climbers

Little Mix claim this week’s second highest new entry, and their fifth Top 10 single to date, with Word Up (6). The girl group’s cover of Cameo’s 1986 hit is the official single of Sport Relief 2014. The biennial charity event has raised over £51.2 million so far this year, smashing the previous record high of £50.4 million set in 2012.

Example is new in at 13 today with Kids Again. The track is taken from the London-based MC’s forthcoming fifth studio album, Live Life Living.

The Human League’s 1981 Number 1 Don’t You Want Me makes a return to the Top 20 today at Number 19, thanks to a social media campaign by fans of Aberdeen Football Club. Trey Songz debuts at Number 20 with Na Na, while London Grammar climb 76 places to Number 37 with Hey Now.
