David Bowie's I Can't Give Everything Away gets animated video - watch

An animated visual for David Bowie's track I Can't Give Everything Away has been unveiled. 

The video for the song - which features on the late icon's Blackstar album - was helmed by British graphic designer Jonathan Barnbrook. Watch below: 

Barnbrook has designed Bowie's album artwork since his 2002 album Heathen, including his final record Blackstar, with each cover having their own unique typeface.  

"This is really a very simple little video that I wanted to be ultimately positive,” Barnbrook said.

"We start off in black and white world of ★, but in the final chorus we move to brilliant colour, I saw it as a celebration of David, to say that despite the adversity we face, the difficult things that happen such as David’s passing, that human beings are naturally positive, they look forward and can take the good from the past and use it as something to help with the present. We are a naturally optimistic species and we celebrate the good that we are given.”

Blackstar, which was released just says before Bowie's death, entered the Official Albums Chart at Number 1, and is currently the fastest selling artist album of the year so far.

The record has also been revealed as one of the biggest of 2016 so far - and the biggest released this year. Check out the full list here.
