Classic FM to reveal the UK's Official Top 300 best-selling classical albums

The longest ever countdown of classical music sales is to be revealed.

Classic FM are to reveal the Official Top 300 best-selling classical albums of the past quarter of a century to commemorate the station's 25th anniversary.

From Friday August 25, Classic FM will reveal the most popular albums in the station's lifetime, a 300 strong list compiled using Official Charts Company data.

The chart will run on the network across four days, taking place between 7am and 7pm each day.

The Ultimate Classic FM Chart will see the station's flagship presenters such as John Suchet, Aled Jones and Bill Turnbull reveal the popular records across the bank holiday, culminating in the Number 1 biggest seller being unveiled at 7pm on Monday August 28.
