ULTRAVOX

After taking over as frontman from John Foxx in 1980, Midge Ure steered Ultravox to the biggest hits of their career, including the smash hit Vienna (named by BBC Radio 2 as the nation's favourite Number 2 single in 2012). Vienna was Ultravox's highest charting single, and was famously kept off the top spot for three weeks straight by Joe Dolce's Shaddup You Face in February 1981.
