GWEN STEFANI

Who is Gwen Stefani?

Gwen Stefani rose to fame in the late 1990s as lead vocalist of Californian rock/ska-punk band No Doubt who scored the UK Number 1 single Don't Speak.

As a solo artist, Stefani, born 3 October 1969, has earned a string of Top 10 hits in the mid-2000s too, including What You Waiting For, Hollaback Girl and her highest-charting UK solo hit The Sweet Escape.

She's also enjoyed successful collaborations with the likes of Eve, who she teamed up with on Top 5 hits Let Me Blow Your Mind and Rich Girl, and with Pharrell Williams on Can I Have It Like That. Later collaborations included a feature on Eminem's Kings Never Die, and with husband Blake Shelton on 2017's You Make It Feel Like Christmas.

Gwen Stefani's 2004 debut album Love Angel Music Baby reached Number 4 in the UK Official Albums Chart and remains her highest-charting solo album to date. Image credit: Jamie Nelson.
