LOSE CONTROL

Lose Control is the first UK Top 40 single from US singer-songwriter Teddy Swims, who combines the genres of R&B and country.
Originally included on Swims' major label debut album, I've Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1), the song sees Swims comparing the first hits of being well and truly in love to some form of addiction.
"It's about losing yourself and losing control when it all starts to cave in," he said of the song, "and thinking that the only way out is through being with that person, chasing that feeling over and over again."
Entering the Official Singles Chart for the first time in 2023, Lose Control climbed and climbed, peaking at Number 2 in March 2024. In December 2024, Lose Control was confirmed by Official Charts as the fourth biggest single of 2024 in the UK and the most-downloaded track of the year.
In April 2025, Official Charts announced that Lose Control was one of the UK's biggest songs of 2025 so far.
