The first single released by Welsh singer-songwriter Ren since he scored his first UK Number 1 album, Sick Boi, in 2023, Troubles recounts Ren's much-publicised battle with multiple chronic health diagnoses over the years. 

"From the age of 19 to 26 I spent most of my life in bed in physical and mental pain," Ren said announcing the single. "Although I was convinced I was going to die, I did climb out, this is my story of hope. I wish I’d had more stories of hope at the time."

Released to celebrate M.E awareness month, Troubles was released by Ren, following the debut of a documentary series on his YouTube and Twitch channels.
